Kayu Casa is an immersive experience, a haven of style and comfort where you can refresh, awaken your senses, and discover a world of inspiration.



A space to make yourself at home, take a rest, enjoy a brew and tune out. Kayu Casa is a curated one bedroom, one bathroom apartment. An inspirational destination for all things interiors. Carefully crafted with Kayu's signature style, welcome home.



Kayu Casa has a spacious open plan lounge with dining area and well-equipped kitchen. These spaces are filled with natural light. The master bedroom features a plush queen-size bed with high quality Citta linen. The bathroom features a walk-in shower and full laundry facilities. Kayu Casa is filled with thoughtful touches for your stay with many of the items available for purchase from Kayu Studio downstairs.



The adjacent Kayu Studio showroom is open to guests, where you can book a meeting room (subject to availability), enjoy coffee, and work in peace. A short walk to central Mount Maunganui, shopping, entertainment and restaurants are at your doorstep.



Kayu Casa offers a pet-friendly option (upon application), allowing one small, trained, non-shedding dog to join the stay. While your furry companions are welcome, please keep in mind that it is your responsibility to make sure the property is safe and secure for your dog's requirements.



Beyonder manages this property and will be your point of contact during your stay.



Beyonder specialises in slow living stays on the Mount Maunganui to Papamoa coastline.

Please note that this apartment is located next to Totara Street Venue, which occasionally hosts loud events on weekends. You can check the Totara Street Venue schedule online to see if any gigs coincide with your stay. Guests must be 25 years or older to book.

Smoking and vaping are not allowed on the property.

We welcome one dog (by request) – a small pet fee applies. Must be hypoallergenic and kept off any furniture or bedding.

Parties and gatherings are not allowed at this property.

Guests have access to one car park only.

Please refrain from cooking smelly or strong foods in the apartment, as this will incur additional cleaning costs.

Payment Terms:
Full payment for your stay will be processed 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival.

Guest Portal:
You will receive a guest portal link from Beyonder, the manager of the property, before your arrival.
Please utilize this link to provide your credit card details and upload a valid ID.

Booking Confirmation:
Your booking is considered provisional until the completion of the guest portal, payment has been made and there has been a successful bond hold.

Bond Hold:
A bond hold will be placed on your credit card 7 working days before your scheduled arrival.
The hold will be released 7 working days after your departure, provided the home is returned in the same pristine condition in which it was found.
Deductions may be made from this bond in the event of any incidentals or excess cleaning.
