Relax and Unwind

Perfect relaxing getaway - in beautiful Hat Head and surrounds. House has everything you need. 300 meters to the beach. 3 doors down from General store. Great location.

Pet friendly, great location

What a beautiful little beach house in a beautiful little beach town. Well equipped house, comfy, cosy and clean. Walking distance to little shops and the bowling club. Pet friendly was a massive plus for us. Dog beach located with 100m or so. We'll be back 😊

Old shack, musty on opening. Sparse kitchen cookware, bedroom could have had another bedside table. Overall ok.

Lovey Quaint Cottage

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Quaint cottage typical of early Hat Head when fishing was the main reason to visit. The cottage was very clean and cosy with a very safe yard for my two small furry friends. Easy stroll for a morning coffee. I’ve visited Hat Head since 1981, never stayed in this accommodation but would not hesitate to book again. Only criticism is the lack of outdoor seating in the back area.

Loved our stay

We stayed with young teen boys and 2 outdoor dogs for a weekend. Very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen with quality items and microwave and oven was both sparkling and worked well. New washing machine and clothes like was helpful. Loved the location and garden. Needed to take short showers as the hot water tank wasn’t big. The whole place was clean, convenient and comfortable. Will stay again

Great place, perfect location

Wifi would be good on those days where the weather is bleak and you want to watch tv. Apart from that I’d definitely recommend the place

Nannas House

You don’t have this property to yourselves, there is half a fence in between the house & a unit out the back where a man was living. Kids couldn’t play outside, was worried the gate would be left open & the dog would get out. Good location & clean. But a bit disappointing as thought we’d be able to play games in the yard & park off the street as advertised.

They have taken action by installing a tall fence along the entire back perimeter of the yard, along with a secure gate. These measures ensure the safety of both children and pets while in the yard. Comfortable Perfect Family Stay

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Though on older place we found it very clean and comfortable. We've made good memories cooking together in the kitchen, playing cards at the table, hanging out watching forumal 1 on the tv. Location is perfect, walking distance to beach, creek and hikes. Playing barefoot bowls at the club a stone's throw away, and venturing to the cute grocery store for snacks. The yard was perfect for our dog, who also had the best time at the beach. Did I mention the main bed v comfy! If you like simple, not fancy, places where you can relax and enjoy some family time, this is the place for you. We hope to come back one day.

Nice but overpriced

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A simple well situated basic home like so many other homes in Hat Head. The house has most things you need close to shops, beach and club. At over $300 per night it was very expensive and another example of how many people are now being priced out of these once affordable holiday rentals. Annoying that the lawnmower man enters the property with the permission of the owner not the renter.
