Smoky weekend

Very clean property that fit our extended family well. Close to everything but not in the middle of the hub bub.

We had an excellent stay at this lovely lakefront unit. Great views of the water and perfect space for our group of 8 ladies. Home was immaculate with lots of conveniences, and the support from our host contact was outstanding! Highly recommend.

We are so happy we chose this property—it was perfect for our family beach trip! The lake views were spectacular. I loved enjoying the quiet mornings sipping coffee on the balcony, and most nights we took in the beautiful sunsets out there, too. The location was great. We loved walking around the lake, seeing the turtles and birds, and even a few alligators (just hanging out in the water with the turtles). The walk to the beach was easy and quick, and especially nice that our access point had a ramp instead of stairs (we had a wagon). We also walked into town and to the boardwalk. It was so nice to not have to drive anywhere all week—the Veggie Wagon right on the corner was a cute little market/coffee shop with so many delicious offerings and live music some days. We also got to play pickleball at the park, which was a 5 minute bike ride away. The house itself was spacious and immaculate. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of dishes and silverware, pots and pans, serving pieces, and small appliances. Carissa was incredibly responsive, answering all my questions in advance, showing up when we had a minor hiccup with the ice maker, calling the town when our trash didn’t get picked up, and making sure our stay was enjoyable from start to finish. All our expectations were exceeded, and we look forward to returning!

Perfect Family Getaway

This was our fist trip to Carolina Beach and it was a wonderful experience. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with all the comforts of home and grocery store about a mile away. The description says 15 minutes to the beach...it is about 3 blocks away; so, much less than 15 minutes for my family. Carissa was very responsive and a joy to work with as our booking agent. The kids and grandkids all want to return; so, that is the best endorsement we needed to hear.

Perfect home for large gatherings

I believe this was the first home we’ve stayed in that was totally immaculate and truly had all the accoutrements needed for home away from home. Nice thick bath towels, hand towels, AND wash cloths for everyone. The kitchen had everything from plenty of dishes and glasses to air fryer, mixer, food processor, pizza pans, toaster oven, fridge has filtered water with a water pitcher that self-fills, two different coffee makers… the list goes on. Even the children were impressed with the beauty of this home. The view from the balconies were breath taking during the evening hours and wee morning hours. Some of us took turns riding the two bikes to the beach and on the walking path around the lake…there was even a bike ride at 7:30am to stand in line for Britt’s Doughnuts. There are board games galore, books to read, two cozy reclining sofas, and a large table for a sit down meal. Thank goodness for the elevator to help distribute the luggage to the rooms on floor two and three and groceries to the top 4th floor on the main living space. The walk to the beach was pretty easy, just have to cross a regular road and then a one-way smaller road. A big shout out to the cleaning crew who undoubtedly work their behinds off making sure every inch of that home is in perfect condition. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was immaculate and in an excellent location. You are close enough to walk to the beach, several restaurants, delicious ice cream just down the road, the playground at the lake, and the boardwalk. The elevator was a life saver for my husband and myself especially when loading and unloading the car. There were 14 of us and we all had plenty of room. The bedrooms are very spacious, much larger than most places I've stayed in. The number of bathrooms made it so no one had to wait. The kitchen, dining room, and living room is open to one another, which gave us enough room to all be together without being on top of each other. There is appliances for every need possible, plenty of spices, utentils, dinnerware, and anything else you can think of to use in a kitchen. They have plenty of board games and cards for a fun family game night. The outdoor shower was great to wash off the sand before entering the house. There is also a storage room with 2 bicycles, fishing rods, chairs, a beach umbrella, floats, boogie boards, and many other beach items that you can use. We all loved staying here. We will be back

This is the second time my family have stayed here and our experience keeps getting better each time. Could not ask for a better rental in Carolina Beach.
