Family Vacation

Beautiful location with a spacious and functional house that worked well for 8 adults, one baby and two dogs. We especially enjoyed being able to gather for dinner at the big dining room table in the evenings. Fishing off the dock was great!

Great Girls Getaway

We loved this property. Had perfect weather 9/l8 -9/21 with beautiful views from the huge windows of the lake and colorful trees. The home was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. We would recommend this place very highly.

Beautiful Cabin

What an amazing view to wake up to every morning! Our group had a wonderful time at this cabin. It was spacious and clean. We were able to get in plenty of fishing, relaxing and creating memories. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Perfect Northwoods Cabin!

This property was wonderful! Super clean. Perfect for family of six. Comfy beds and great spots for watching movies and playing games. Nice waterfront with a fire pit. Highly recommend Pine Ridge, Angler’s Haven and Schoolhouse Wines if you want to venture from the home. Would stay here again!

Spacious with a great view

The cabin was clean, spacious, and well-equipped without being cluttered. Great view of the (frozen) lake. Jon was very responsive to inquiries and addressing questions.

Great, relaxing family weekend

We enjoyed our stay very much!! One small note to pass along one of the comforters in the bedroom with two twin beds had a hole in it. My mother in law woke up with feathers all over her!:) had a wonderful time! We will be back I'm sure!

Overall I would say that the stay was decent. I will start with the beach and amenities. The beach was great for the kids to play at with sand and shallow water. The deck had beautiful view of the lake and the eagles that nested nearby. The bed situation was not ideal for our group as two adults had to sleep in single beds, the bed that we slept on was probably the most uncomfortable thing I have ever laid down on. We had sewer issues that required the septic company to come pump it while we stayed there and the smell was not pleasant for a while outside and inside of the home. There were several maintenance men at the house doing odds and ends on and off while we were there, so that wasn’t the greatest situation as I work construction for a living and it was my vacation to get away from that stuff. Our only other issue that we ran into was the house was very lacking of water pressure in the showers.

Great time!

Beautiful cabin and property! Tons of room to spread out....we had 4 adults and 3 young children. Fabulous lake views and great fishing dock. The beach is shared with other cabins but the other folks were all friendly. My only criticisms are 1) the internet connectivity is not good and 2) it would be nice if there was a hand towel or kitchen towel available. We would definitely go back!

Gently used property?

Beautiful house and location on an amazing lake. House seemed “used”. Broken leather chair, kitchen sink faucet ready to fall off, screen porch that was hard to see out of because of dirty screens, etc.

Lake Life at its Finest

Our family spent a wonderful and relaxing week at this beautiful property. We grilled, we fished, we played bocce on the huge lawn and crowned a family ping pong champ. The property was very clean, kitchen was well equipped, and the couches both upstairs and downstairs were very comfortable for movie nights. We enjoyed exploring the local restaurants and visiting the Freshwater Fishing Museum in downtown Hayward. One minor maintenance issue was dealt with quickly. We'd definitely return!

A wedding in the woods

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house for our daughters wedding. House was as described. We took alot of wedding pictures inside and out in front of house. One morning we had 5 bald eagles flying around.

Fun times at LCO!

Overall, we had a great time! The cabin was beautiful and weather was hot! We rented a pontoon and caught walleye, bass and northern. Off the dock we caught tons of pan fish and a large small mouth bass too. Be careful, there is a little walk with stairs from the parking which was difficult for the older adults in our party. The large windows are great for the view but make the upper level not useable in the afternoon hours due to indoor temperature climbing. We appreciate the owner and management company trying to address the issue temporarily to make sleeping more pleasant. Ultimately it likely needs a permanent solution like blinds for the afternoon. Great memories and a great stay! Thanks to all!

Nice getaway

Enjoyed our time however some of the pictures did not reflect the proximity of neighbors nor the shared beach. Guests were frequently walking across yard from their house to beach access. The dock does not have a relaxing bench either. Maintenance issues found upon arrival were quickly addressed and communication was excellent

Great place to stay!

We had a great stay! If we had any questions, the property manager was prompt getting back to us. The house was beautiful and had a gorgeous view of the lake. We would definitely stay here again!

LCO December Stay

The cabin is located in a beautiful location on an amazing lake. It was peaceful and the ice fishing was good! Driving up to the cabin and the view of it from the lake is gorgeous. The interior and furnishings would benefit from some sprucing up. While it is noted in the listing body soaps, shampoos, bath and beach towels should be brought with, it would be great for some of those to be available and not have to pack. Guests should also considering bringing the following if they think they will need: laundry soap, paper plates and utensils, plastic baggies and Saran Wrap/aluminum foil, storage containers, extra kitchen towels. A small kitchen sponge, one disposable rag and one dish towel to dry are provided.

Family get away

Nice place for family get together. Close to Hayward to do some shopping and visiting the ICE CREAM SHOP! Over all had nice time.

Cousins Week

We loved the location and the beautiful cabin. Our only complaint was that it is listed for 12 guests. 2 of the guests had to sleep on the pull-out couch. Typically we would have expected 12 regular beds for 12 guests, not 10 plus a pull-out couch. One place on the listing it showed 2 full beds in one of the rooms and in another place on the listing it showed those 2 beds as twin beds. If there had been 2 full beds we would have enjoyed the stay more. Besides the sleeping conditions, I would have given this a 5 star review.
