The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Short walk to the beach. We could sit in the living-room and watch the waves. Enclosed balcony was enjoyable.

The balcony was my favorite part of this unit. The furniture is starting to show its age, but it was still adequate. It was an easy check in process and the rental company was very communicative. I would stay here again.

Gulf Shores Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is in a good location. It isn't really close to a lot of restaurants, but there are several within a medium walking and short driving distance. Not being right next to restaurants does provide a more relaxing and quieter atmosphere. Unfortunately, the property does not allow beach chair and umbrella rentals to be setup on the beach directly in front of the property, but the properties on either side allow for that, so you can rent those amenities and have them set up near the property.

Edgewater truly is is located perfectly - close enough to restaurants, but not too close. The glass-enclosed balconies provide comfortable Gulf-viewing. Give us a shout when you begin dreaming of your next Gulf Coast visit!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Second year in a row staying at Edgewater, booking thru Bender. Easy check in and out. Very clean and had zero issues this stay. If we decide to go back to Gulf Shores next year we will be using this same rental and condo again.

Peaceful Stay

Great location. We loved the enclosed patio area so that we could let in as much or as little of the breeze/sounds during our stay. Overall great condo. Our only complaint was that we had to pay an additional 80 to park our extra car. Meanwhile our friends in the same building, under a different management company received two free parking passes.

The glass-enclosed balcony is a fabulous feature for guests, particularly those visiting in the winter. The price of the vehicle passes is determined by the condo association. It may be that the cost for your friends was embedded in other booking fees and therefore, not visible. 2025 beach vacation

Needs a lot of work

First I'll give the positives...The location was right on the beach, the pool was decent, and the beach chairs in the condo were nice. It was two bedroom and two bath as listed and the check in process was easy. Now for the negatives...Upon arrival we noticed the area rugs were disgusting. They were stained, but also there was ground in dirt and pieces of glass on them. The furniture was very stained. There was sand on the bedsheets on the bed in the second bedroom.There were empty hooks on some of the walls. The dishes and silverware had food stuck on them. The sliding doors were very hard to open and the railing on the west side of the balcony was very loose and had nothing anchoring it to the building. Also, the outer sliding door panel was separated from the glass.The cable outlet cover was missing from the master bedroom so the wires were hanging out. There was also a large (1ft x 1ft) hole under the master sink area where you can see the pipes in the wall. I texted the management company and sent pictures of some of the issues. They offered to send their cleaning crew back. We had seen their work and decided we would do a better job ourselves, so we declined their offer. It took us about two hours to clean the condo. We did end up rolling up the area rugs because vacuuming didn't help. The management company thanked me for letting them know about the condition of the condo and said they would look into cleaning the furniture and upholstery after our stay.
