Discover our charming log cottage retreat in Tatamagouche, NS, nestled next to the Northumberland Strait. Located at 1120 Sandpoint Road within the Village on the Cove, our tranquil getaway offers over 1000 feet of waterfront, providing a perfect place to play, work, or relax. Enjoy modern amenities including Starlink satellite internet, complimentary local breakfast for weekly bookings, board games, and a cozy fire pit with chairs.

Main area includes a full kitchen, bathroom with stand up shower, and a bedroom with a queen bed. Second bedroom is in our 4 season bunk house. This room has a double bed.

Parking is available on site for your convenience. Tatamagouche's Main Street, with its array of amenities including a grocery store, a liquor store, restaurants, a brewery, a pharmacy, a hospital, and a police station, is just a short 8-minute drive away.

Our retreat in Tatamagouche is conveniently located near a variety of activities. You can enjoy skiing at Wentworth Ski Hill, playing a round of golf at one of the four beautiful golf courses, relaxing at Rushtons Beach or Blue Sea Beach, exploring Jost Winery, visiting Sugarmoon Farms, and discovering local art at the Ice House Gallery. Additionally, you can explore Creamery Square and its weekend market, visit The Train Station, and hike or bike along The Trans Canada Trail. There's something for everyone to enjoy!

This was a beautiful cottage right on the water and everything else the listing described. It was perfect for our trip to visit family in the area and we will be booking it again for future visits.

Cozy dog friendly cottage with all the amenities you need.Jamanda the host was responsive to any questions I had. We were there for a week and the breakfast box was a nice surprise. The little bunky cottage was a nice touch for added sleep space. Location is close to town, parks and beaches.

Mini holiday

The cottage was lovely and very well outfitted! The bunk room felt like a proper bedroom. We only found one of the two paths down to the beach and it was on the far end of the property from our location. Overall we were very happy with the cottage and would definitely book again.

Cottage was lovely. Really set up for my puppy. Property outside needed some care ie lawn mowed and really needed long grass whipper snipped. Ocean water was really warm.

The Road in: Be careful going up the road to the cottages. It is full of potholes, and you need to drive about 10 mph for a distance. The road needs to be graded.Cottage: The cottage was clean and well-appointed. Everything you might need was there. The view is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were really good. There were enough electrical outlets for modern demands. Bring a cube with you to power laptops, etc. Very pet-friendly. There were lots of good-sized towels, which were welcome. Games available. Great BBQ. Only two chairs and a tiny table in the kitchen. The freezer was iced up.The Beach: There really isn't a beach per se, so don't count on that - just a lot of big rocks down below. Issue: The two of us could not figure out the TV settings. It meant we had to start another account to get into Amazon TV, which we did not want to do. The TV controls did not work. This one would not let us in, no matter what we tried, even unplugging it, hoping it would reset itself. So, we were not able to watch anything in the evenings on Netflix/Disney. The issue is that the owners live two hours away, so they were not able to come and help. They said that the cleaning lady would drop by to reset the TV, but she did not show up. Be aware that no one is around to help you if you need it.

All was fine.It was well stocked except for kleenex tissue.The dishes were very few.The scenery was beautiful.The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner worked very well and was great to have. It was well equipped for our little doggie.
