The home was exactly as pictured. The ocean view was amazing, we even saw whales! The yard was perfect for the dogs and the beach was lovely.

The Kitchen was fully equipped after we had to get the maintenance team out to flip the breaker for the kitchen and dining room lights it was good.

Loved this house and its location wonderful ocean view! Lovely and the layout was great! The only issues were that we couldn’t get the house warm and the shower door in one of the bathrooms fell off . Otherwise it’s wonderful.

The storm door on the front of the house was broken. One cabinet in the kitchen was completely missing the door. Access to the beach was not available. The stairs down to the beach had been rotted out and were taped off with yellow tape saying "do not enter".

Talk about beach access!

The house was just right as a beach house! Clean, comfortable, dog-friendly and perfect location!However, the stairs to the beach (a short set of stairs) has had major damage and repairs are needed. Next door has a good path!

Perfect beach getaway

Relaxing. Beautiful ocean views. Loved being able to walk out the back door and down to the beach, and this is stretch of beach is really nice. Spectacular sunsets. Location perfect. Few minutes from Yachats, Waldport, or Newport. Great time.

Sweet place, great location.

This place was perfect for our family as we were able to let the kiddo play on the beach without having g to go anywhere. The house was cute and a good size. Only thing I can say is there could be a bit more upkeep done to make for more comfort.

Fire Escape

We rented this cottage last minute to escape fire evacuations in Douglas county. The setting is spectacular. We enjoyed morning and evening walks on the beach. The kitchen has everything you need for making meals. The price was right. Not a high end beach house but very nice and comfortable for three nights.

I really liked the house and view, especially it's proximity to Big Stump. It was in need of some winter maintenance, but noting major. I was a little disappointed that the garage and stair case out back were unaccessible , but there was beach access.

Pacific Rest Get Away

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent 3 nights and the beach was beautiful and easily accessible. The kitchen was adequately furnished but the household furnishings were dated. The carpet throughout was stained and needed cleaning showing it had been pet friendly.

Not pretentious nut homey and comfortable. Kids love the yard and beach just steps away and we do too! Done attention to detail needed such as cleaning cobwebs and lint from furnace vents above the kitchen and from lights and fans. But that will not deter us f of staying again.

The heater is controlled by the thermostat. We found this information in your reservation notes, so we are not sure why you did not receive a response. Beautiful Week in Waldport

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were here for 6 days. The house sleeps 8 people very well. Beach access was as advertised, just a few steps away. There were multiple places to sit at the edge of the year and enjoy watching surf and sunsets. This is the 1st time staying at this location, but 3rd time in Waldport. This was my wife's favorite. Even now we wished we'd stayed longer. We took full advantage of the kitchen for breakfast most mornings and lunch, and ate in Waldport or Newport for dinners. You have to try China Restaurant in Waldport. Can wait to get back to this location next year.
