Spacious and extremely pleasant house, situated in a green area of 32 hectares, just 4 km from the city of Vassouras, in the Vale do Café region, in the Serra Fluminense mountain range, Rio de Janeiro state.

A tranquil setting, immersed in nature, offering privacy, a cool breeze, a starry sky, and the pleasant sound of birdsong. Perfect for enjoying weekends or holidays with family and friends.

The property has two floors and features 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms - 1 en-suite, 2 bedrooms connected to the bathroom via a walk-in closet, and a third bathroom (powder room) on the first floor. The house can accommodate up to 6 people and has a fireplace, dining room, living room, covered terrace overlooking the greenery, bathtub, and a kitchen equipped with a gas stove and a traditional wood-burning stove.

Surrounded by a large garden, orchard, and vegetable garden, the house is situated in a valley where the native vegetation of the Atlantic Forest has been recovered over the last 40 years. There is ample space for hiking trails, outdoor activities, and birdwatching within the property.

I have an outdoor security camera monitoring the front door of the house. There are no other outdoor cameras or cameras in indoor spaces.

What to do in Vassouras, Rio de Janeiro?

Vassouras is located in the interior of the State of Rio de Janeiro, approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes by car from the state capital, about 125 km away.

Emperor Pedro II granted Vassouras the title of "Imperial City." Located in the Coffee Valley, a region encompassing approximately 15 municipalities of great historical importance to the country, the city was central to Brazil's coffee production in the 19th century.

The historical heritage of Vassouras includes Barão de Campo Belo Square, the Ivy Museum, churches, centuries-old mansions, an old steam locomotive, and historic coffee farms. Tourist attractions are located both within the city itself and in the surrounding areas of Vassouras.
