Such a wonderful place to stay, the trails in the forrest, the piece and quite. An amazing amount of books to read, almost a small library. The well stocked fridge, two decks to choose from, such a treasure at the end of the road. Will for sure be back if we "do" Quadra island again.

We had a wonderful stay. The property was very clean, well stocked, and in a great location. The check-in process was smooth and the host communicated clearly throughout our stay. The place was beautiful and relaxing with trails in the back for you to explore.

Wonderful accommodation! No detail left out. Claire and Dan are warm and welcoming. The suite was more than we expected. I highly recommend a visit. We will be back!

This place is magical! Beautiful with attention made to all of the little details to make it comfortable, it’s peaceful and comfortable, and the surrounding forest and trails were an extra bonus to explore. Claire is a lovely host who was very helpful with tips as well as yummy treats for breakfast for us every morning. Would highly recommend!

Amazing property and suite. Claire has thought of every need. Dan has created a delightful network of groomed walking trails on the 5-acre property. I will absolutely stay here again.

Great stay

It was a great location and property close to everything on the southern end of Quadra, with really cool walking trails on the property, and great communication from Claire.

Claire provided a delightful array of items for breakfast. The cottage was perfect for our anniversary weekend away!
There are miles of forest trails on the property with charming stone piles everywhere!

Chez Claire is exceptional!

Wonderful place for a quiet, peaceful stay.The suite lacked nothing, was so we'll appointed & included some very tasty food items. Claire is meticulous & thoughtful!The woodland trails & sights we're enchantingly beautiful.Real works of passion by Dan, the owner & creator.

I had weekend getaway here and it was one of the best I have ever experienced. The breakfast provided was so lovely. There are a lot of games and movie options in the cabin as well. We also made some campfire s’mores outside. It was such a lovely stay. I definitely recommend and will hopefully be coming back!

Chez Claire is on a beautiful property. The whole experience was wonderful from the start. The accommodations were clean, organized and exactly as we expected. The fridge was full of delicious food for our breakfast and the selection was above and beyond. The kitchenette had everything we needed to make hot and cold drinks and enjoy our meals. The bed was comfortable and cosy. We enjoyed watching a movie and playing board games during our stay. There was a bird feeder on the patio and we saw lots of hummingbirds. The trails were incredible to explore. We had a great time wondering through them and enjoying the forest and rock sculptures. This is a very special place that we would definitely visit again! Peaceful retreat with delicious breakfast spread

Chez Claire is a little slice of paradise where you can sit on the balcony, sipping your coffee or wine and watch the hummingbirds, deer or other wildlife in the yard. The bed is very comfortable, the trails around the property are eclectic and fun to explore and Claire even went the extra mile and provided us with breakfast for our dietary needs which was completely unexpected. We hope to be back sometime and highly recommend for a peaceful getaway.

Wonderful private suite

The suite is very large with many amenities. there was a lot of wonderful food in the fridge for us. Claire’s granola is amazing. We really enjoyed hiking on the beautiful property. We will definitely be back.

This was an excellent place to stay. I could not have made a better choice. Clair was an amazing host. The breakfast items were replenished immediately. Her home baking was delicious and plentiful. I would recommend Chez Clair to anyone. I can't say enough about this wonderful gem tucked away in a forest!!

Claire was the most friendly and generous host! She had just baked muffins on our arrival and had a very organized and tidy suite for us to stay in. The place had everything we needed and more (games, puzzles, books, and lots of information of things to do on Quadra Island). Claire and her husband also went above and beyond with a full fridge of fruit and breakfast items for our long weekend stay. She and her husband were such generous and thoughtful people, and my partner and i feel so lucky that they were able to share their beautiful home and property with us!

Great place to stay - quiet, clean, comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen, and super helpful host. We did not use the TV. Less than 10 minutes from the ferry. Close to the lighthouse park. Would definitely come again.

Great place to be in nature & feel at home

We enjoyed our stay in Claire’s place; it is spacious and welcoming. Claire was a perfect host. The fridge was filled with bagels, cream cheese , something my husband called focaccia & even blueberry crumble . Claire also advised us about the best places to canoe..

Quiet woodland retreat

A little home away from home. It was so lovely to have the quiet, away from the buzz of the perhaps more popular waterfront areas. I enjoyed sipping coffee on the patio in the morning, listening to the birds. Claire had the fridge very stocked with fruit, snacks,and breakfast items. She even made is scones for the second day!! I would definitely go back

Sweet Little Oasis on Quadra

Claire and Dan went the extra mile to help us enjoy our stay, including driving us to a hiking trailhead and showing us the extensive network of meticulously maintained trails on the property. Breakfast supplied included fresh fruits from their garden. Quaint and beautiful all across the board. Too many cool memories to note! We would love to come back. Thank you Claire and Dan…we hope to be as cool as you some day!
