This rental was so clean and such an adorable house. Loved the backyard fire pit. Enjoyed the closeness to the lake. Everything was perfect!

Our family of 4 adults and 2 children liked the clean, well air conditioned house 21/2 blks from beach at blue stairs. Went to playground nearby, used the fire pit one night and loved the grill Genesis ll. TV room in basement was fun with round chair. Lots of kids books and games and the littles loved the stinky socks book!

Great stay in South Haven

This was our first time staying in South Haven. Great place, great location. Short walk to both the beach and downtown area. Would definitely like to stay here again.

We chose this property due to character of the house and the beautiful garden. We also liked that it is walking distance to the lake and the dowtown shops. Perfect house for a perfect weekend getaway with friends!

The house was great for an extended family weekend trip. The house is located within walking distance to the beach, town and Kids corner. Would definitely stay here again. Just a note, the driveway is very narrow.

Family time

We had a wonderful stay, our family came from four different states to gather in South Haven. The property was wonderful, the outdoor space was a huge bonus, and we loved being there. Beach is just a few minutes away, easy walking distance to enjoy the lake or watch the sunset. Definitely recommend!

Great location…close to lake and town. We loved that we were able to see the lake from the front porch. The house was lovely for the 6 of us. It was comfortable, clean and spacious giving each couple their own bathroom. We enjoyed the fire pit and the evening strolls to witness the sunset. We have been coming to the area for over 30 years and this property checks all the boxes. We will be back!

Want to go to the beach?

1.5 blocks to the beach! What an awesome location! House was immaculate. Felt like it was just remodeled. Sitting out on porch for morning me time was relaxing. Fresh breezes coming thru the windows in the quiet neighborhood puts you to sleep. Plenty of space to spread out if you have teens. Worth every penny.

Weeds out of control

The weeds were out of control and they were scratching my car every time we pulled into the drive, and the weeds were over grown on the porch and around the fire pit, so we weren’t able to enjoy the outside at all, plus there is only 1 TV in the entire house and it is in the basement, I guess I should have asked before we booked, but who doesn’t have a TV in the living room

We have stayed at this property several times over the years and will likely stay again. It is always clean, the location is ideal, and the lack of mandatory weeklong stays make it very attractive. The street is quiet yet close to the beach and downtown shops. The outdoor grill is newer, the kitchen is well equipped with more than enough dishes and cookware. We didn't use the fire pit this time, but it provides an additional space on those cool nights.Note that the only TV is in the basement, but I didn't find that to be a negative as we weren't there to watch TV. The front closet has a handful of games if you don't bring your own. Two minor quibbles: there are literally zero hangers in the entire house which makes it odd when starting at a large empty closet, and there was no Kleenex as well, so come prepared with both.
