Sandy Point Beachfront

Smukke LAVE BANK, IKKE RYGGENDE strandhus ved Sandy Point, tæt på Bellingham WA og Vancouver BC. Sandy Point er et lille samfund ved stranden, der tilbyder utrolige solopgange over Mt Baker og solnedgange, der spejler de hawaiiske øer. Nyd lydene og lugterne fra Straight of Georgia samt passerende skibe, orcas, blå hegre, ørne og mere, mens du slapper af inde eller ude på det store dæk med udsigt over Sucia, Matia, Patos og Orcas Islands

Hovedhuset har 2 soveværelser, et med en konge og et med en queensize-seng, begge med luksuriøst sengetøj, et badeværelse med stort brusebad (uden badekar), køkken, spisestue og opholdsstue (alle på den vestlige side med en mur af vinduer) til sammenkomster. Stuen tilbyder et stort fladskærms-tv til film eller sportsbegivenheder.
Yderligere to soveværelser (med queensize-senge og et 3/4 bad er i og over den fritliggende garage kun få skridt væk fra hovedhuset med private omgivelser for en anden familie eller børnene

Thank you Dan for sharing your place. All of us loved it. Being right on the water was amazing! The beds and bedding were were super comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, the outdoor furniture was plentiful and in great shape. I would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful and gracious home with the perfect beach set up! Everything was great: the house is thoughtfully furnished and tastefully decorated, the kitchen is well-stocked and a dream to cook in, the patio area offers a variety of seating options, the master bedroom bed was very comfortable, loved the dual shower, linens are good quality and everything was very clean. Telescope and binoculars were a welcome bonus! Communication with Dan was prompt and friendly. This is our third visit to Sandy Point and our best rental experience by far! We had a lovely stay and look forward to booking here again.

This was a gorgeous, well appointed home. It lacked nothing. We wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else if we come back to Bellingham.

Fantastic place for a relaxing getaway!

The location of this house is so beautiful and peaceful, yet it's close to Bellingham where there are endless things to do. The kitchen has everything you could need, the house is super clean, and the views and sunsets cannot be beat. It's fun to walk on trails through the fields in the neighborhood or ride bikes around the peninsula. The owner was responsive and helpful. We could have easily spent a week just relaxing on the beautiful patio that is right on the water.

Amazing!

Everything was above and beyond fantastic here! It sits right on the waters edge facing west so enjoying the sound of the ocean was a daily experience. Sunsets were stunning! Enjoyed a fire on the last night. Inside house was spacious and clean. Kitchen greatly stocked, we cooked dinners most nights, the outside grill was a plus. Beds and pillows very comfy! Would definitely stay again!

Schultz family vacation

It was absolutely perfect. The house and property are stunning. We had great weather and saw so many great places. We saw Otters, seals, and even Orcas! Several Eagles were around all week. I can’t say enough great things about this location. We were able to easily drive to Vancouver BC which is beautiful! This location has Great views, great location, excellent seafood close by and great people all around. You can’t go wrong.

Amazing Sunsets and Mount Baker Views

Beautiful location right on the beach with the best sunsets we've ever seen!! The beds/bedding are top quality and comfortable which is always appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view and excellent house

Beautiful view of the sea and islands from the living room and Mt Baker from the kitchen. Kitchen had everything needed. Shower and bathroom were clean and very nice. The bed was super comfy. It was lovely to hear the waves breaking on the beach. So relaxing! Would thoroughly recommend!

A team of guys competing in the ski to sea race that included 2 that came from out of state. This home provided a home base and place of relaxation pre and post race, to enjoy the festivities of the weekend and then retreat to relax.

Great for families

We had a lovely stay at this home. Comfy beds and plenty of space to lounge in the living room with the 4 adults and 3 kids. The kitchen was well stocked for us to cook most our meals. Communication with Dan was good. We contacted him about wanting to know how to access the external speakers to have a movie night but they were not hooked up which a small bummer because my parents are hard of hearing so they were unable to enjoy. But other than that Dan was accommodating and quick with any other requests/questions. We hope to be back!

Lovely home and easy stay

The house and its accommodations are above and beyond. We stayed with friends and family to slow life down, which is easily done with this view and the firepit! Rooms were comfy, bathrooms stocked with towels, and the kitchen was wonderful to work in and had everything we needed to cook with. We didn't eat at any local restaurants, but I highly recommend the Community Cooperative grocery store in Bellingham on the drive-in. My only 4 star rating was for cleanliness due to the constant line of ants in the kitchen. Everything needed to be sealed or in the fridge. It looks like a continuing issue due to the presence of ant traps. We had heavy summer rains and noticed a couple of water leaks - one in the bunkhouse and the other from a window. Those look like they have been an issue for a while. Don't let these prevent you from booking as this is a wonderful getaway spot with a million dollar view!

Perfect for a quiet, relaxing vacation

Stayed here for 3 nights in August with family and loved it. The home is beautiful and quiet. The view of the ocean is stunning and access to the beach was steps from the front porch. Lots of gulls, cormorants, scoters and osprey to see. We also loved using the kayaks and swimming in the chilly water. Kitchen was well appointed with everything that one could need for preparing meals and bedrooms were comfortable. Would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend this gem to anyone!

Awesome location. Great view

We came to town for a family wedding. This place was perfect and my sister rented the house next door. Beautiful views and sunsets. Only thing was, I wish there was laundry detergent available and some shampoo/conditioner. For people flying in, it would be much more convenient. Beds were Comfortable linens were great.

Beach house, more like dream house

Everything about this place was amazing. I feel like the pictures online dont do it any justice. It was such a lovely spot to spend a week of vacation. The beach was literally in the backyard and the home is gorgeous. The main house and bedrooms get a bit warm but hey it was overall an excellent trip because of this excellent home.

Lovely time at Sandy Point Beach House

My family of 8 stayed at the Beach House and found the kitchen stocked with everything we could imagine needing to cook meals and settle right in easily. The view and location were amazing for a get away close to Bellingham! We used the pickleball and tennis courts,, took the cruisers up and down the road and trails nearby, and kayaked on the ocean. Something for everyone, including sitting outside and enjoying the view at all hours. Dan was a helpful host. Would stay here again!

Beautiful view and stay!

We stayed over Memorial Day weekend. Dan’s house is as exactly as described. With two couples we didn’t even need to use the bedrooms in the back building. The views from the kitchen/dining/living room and outside deck were incredible! The house is located near Bellingham and Ferndale. The house was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked - everything was there that we needed to cook and stay in each night for dinner. One night we got freshly caught king salmon from Barlean’s Fishery in Ferndale and cooked on the outside gas grill. Delicious! There is also a pickle ball court about a 1/2 mile away. Dan has pickleball equipment available to use. Our favorite part was sitting in the deck listening to complete silence, watching the water and the seals. We would definitely return!

Girls Weekend

We came for a girls weekend and it was perfect! The accomdations and view are perfect. We love ❤️ the neighborhood, we also made trips to Lummi Island, ferndale and Whatcolm Falls. The owner is easy to communicate with. Thanks again.
