Smukke LAVE BANK, IKKE RYGGENDE strandhus ved Sandy Point, tæt på Bellingham WA og Vancouver BC. Sandy Point er et lille samfund ved stranden, der tilbyder utrolige solopgange over Mt Baker og solnedgange, der spejler de hawaiiske øer. Nyd lydene og lugterne fra Straight of Georgia samt passerende skibe, orcas, blå hegre, ørne og mere, mens du slapper af inde eller ude på det store dæk med udsigt over Sucia, Matia, Patos og Orcas Islands

Hovedhuset har 2 soveværelser, et med en konge og et med en queensize-seng, begge med luksuriøst sengetøj, et badeværelse med stort brusebad (uden badekar), køkken, spisestue og opholdsstue (alle på den vestlige side med en mur af vinduer) til sammenkomster. Stuen tilbyder et stort fladskærms-tv til film eller sportsbegivenheder.

Great for families

We had a lovely stay at this home. Comfy beds and plenty of space to lounge in the living room with the 4 adults and 3 kids. The kitchen was well stocked for us to cook most our meals. Communication with Dan was good. We contacted him about wanting to know how to access the external speakers to have a movie night but they were not hooked up which a small bummer because my parents are hard of hearing so they were unable to enjoy. But other than that Dan was accommodating and quick with any other requests/questions. We hope to be back!

Lovely home and easy stay

The house and its accommodations are above and beyond. We stayed with friends and family to slow life down, which is easily done with this view and the firepit! Rooms were comfy, bathrooms stocked with towels, and the kitchen was wonderful to work in and had everything we needed to cook with. We didn't eat at any local restaurants, but I highly recommend the Community Cooperative grocery store in Bellingham on the drive-in. My only 4 star rating was for cleanliness due to the constant line of ants in the kitchen. Everything needed to be sealed or in the fridge. It looks like a continuing issue due to the presence of ant traps. We had heavy summer rains and noticed a couple of water leaks - one in the bunkhouse and the other from a window. Those look like they have been an issue for a while. Don't let these prevent you from booking as this is a wonderful getaway spot with a million dollar view!

Peaceful Retreat

This was the perfect time away! Peace, relaxation, and comfort with a beautiful view! We enjoyed our time very much and would love to visit again. Lots of space and great location.

Perfect for a quiet, relaxing vacation

Stayed here for 3 nights in August with family and loved it. The home is beautiful and quiet. The view of the ocean is stunning and access to the beach was steps from the front porch. Lots of gulls, cormorants, scoters and osprey to see. We also loved using the kayaks and swimming in the chilly water. Kitchen was well appointed with everything that one could need for preparing meals and bedrooms were comfortable. Would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend this gem to anyone!

Family reunion at sandy beach

Awesome location. Great view

We came to town for a family wedding. This place was perfect and my sister rented the house next door. Beautiful views and sunsets. Only thing was, I wish there was laundry detergent available and some shampoo/conditioner. For people flying in, it would be much more convenient. Beds were Comfortable linens were great.

Beach house, more like dream house

Everything about this place was amazing. I feel like the pictures online dont do it any justice. It was such a lovely spot to spend a week of vacation. The beach was literally in the backyard and the home is gorgeous. The main house and bedrooms get a bit warm but hey it was overall an excellent trip because of this excellent home.

Lovely time at Sandy Point Beach House

My family of 8 stayed at the Beach House and found the kitchen stocked with everything we could imagine needing to cook meals and settle right in easily. The view and location were amazing for a get away close to Bellingham! We used the pickleball and tennis courts,, took the cruisers up and down the road and trails nearby, and kayaked on the ocean. Something for everyone, including sitting outside and enjoying the view at all hours. Dan was a helpful host. Would stay here again!

Beautiful view and stay!

We stayed over Memorial Day weekend. Dan’s house is as exactly as described. With two couples we didn’t even need to use the bedrooms in the back building. The views from the kitchen/dining/living room and outside deck were incredible! The house is located near Bellingham and Ferndale. The house was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked - everything was there that we needed to cook and stay in each night for dinner. One night we got freshly caught king salmon from Barlean’s Fishery in Ferndale and cooked on the outside gas grill. Delicious! There is also a pickle ball court about a 1/2 mile away. Dan has pickleball equipment available to use. Our favorite part was sitting in the deck listening to complete silence, watching the water and the seals. We would definitely return!

Girls Weekend

We came for a girls weekend and it was perfect! The accomdations and view are perfect. We love ❤️ the neighborhood, we also made trips to Lummi Island, ferndale and Whatcolm Falls. The owner is easy to communicate with. Thanks again.

Annual Stay!

This trip was just the two of us celebrating time together after a full summer supporting big events for the kids. So peaceful! We enjoyed endless hours out back and many walks through the fields to the point. We spent some time in Fairhaven and Birch Bay but our favorite place was Dan’s back deck! Fun treat this time was watching the salmon playfully jumping in the marina! The house has everything from well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds!

Sandy point adventure

This was our first visit to Sandy Point and our was great. The house we rented was comfortable, kitchen well stocked, linens very nice, owner very responsible to our needs. The outdoor experience was fabulous: salmon were jumping, porpoises swimming out front, we caught ( and ate) crab, neighbors were friendly, everything all around great for our family

Five stars!

Laid back beachy feel with quality amenities. We really utilized everything the home had to offer including the pickelball paddles! Sunsets were amazing, we took advantage of the marina- ( although a bit tricky with the tides) boating to nearby islands we were lucky enough to see Orcas! Great stay, thank you for sharing your home.

Beautiful Sunsets and Great View!

We felt immersed in beautiful views of nature. The ocean view here is really great, and the setup of the outdoor area in back is perfect to enjoy the view! We also enjoyed the mountain view from the kitchen window and front yard. The bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. We love to cook, and we found everything we needed in the kitchen. The host left useful info about local businesses, including a seafood market nearby. We went for walks in the neighborhood in the evening and enjoyed the little neighborhood park area.

Relaxation Paradise

Beautiful setting to relax. We spent our days hiking and exploring the area. Coming back to this place to prepare dinner and then dine while looking out at the water was a joy!

Pacific Northwest Beauty

This is a gem of a place - the best thing is the two separate buildings that have two bedrooms each. It allowed the late riser in the group to have their own quiet space. I only wish there was more access to the beach. The view is outstanding, there just isn't much available for walking along the beach. There is biking and walking in this quaint shoreline community, though. Access to groceries is limited, but the kitchen is well-stocked with the basics and a great dining area for meals. The host was quick to answer and gracious when we needed a favor. I have been recommending it to friends who want that cool getaway with not a lot of hassle or distraction. 20 minutes from the college town of Bellingham, where there is lots to do and see. Go to the movie theater there - it's old-time awesome. Oh, and the sunsets are right out of a magazine. We just loved it.

Wonderful getaway with the most magical views

This property was more than we could have asked for - a real diamond by any standards. It is right on the Salish Sea and you will be spoiled by the most incredible sunsets. From the kitchen we could see Mt Baker and the Twin Sisters clearly. Fall asleep hearing the sounds of the waves crash along the shore. The living space was comfortably designed with enough space for all the people. The kitchen had all of the kitchenware you could really need, but as one person mentioned the cabinets didn't have space for storing groceries - however the fridge and freezer were empty and there was enough counter space that it wasn't an issue for us. Haggens grocery store is about a 15 minute drive away, and you can gaze upon Baker almost the whole drive there. We will be back.

Beach & Ocean Relaxation

This Vrbo is perfect for the group or family that wants to get away to a quiet neighborhood where the only sounds are those of the waves against the shore and the waterfowl. It rained a couple of days during our stay so we stayed indoors and relaxed, read, and played games, all the while with a view of the water across the living area. On the sunny days, we enjoyed time outside walking the beach, sitting around the fire, playing pickleball (down the street) and watching the sunsets. It was a great place for the family to gather for some time together!

Great place to get away

Our family of 5 adults loved our stay here! The views were amazing! The house is comfortable and the kitchen had everything we could want to fix meals. The kayaks were a treat for our two youngest kids on a day when the water was calm. The garage rooms were great as we all had space to spread out. The shower has amazing water pressure too, great after a long day of sightseeing! The location is 1.5-2 hrs drive to Vancouver, Seattle, N Cascades NP, and Whidbey/Fidalgo Islands. It’s about 20 min from town and grocery stores. We all agreed it was worth the drive for such a great place to stay.

Sweet Spot

Greay place right on the water with fairly easy access to the beach. House has a ton of charm. Fire pit made the entire trip. Be sure to bring your own fire wood and kindling. Barleans fish market is close by which is one of the best around for fresh seafood.
