Excellent house for a family vacation! My kids and dog felt right at home. Well-appointed, the host truly thought of everything. Beautiful property and a gorgeous location to be on the lake. We had a wonderful time here!

It was the perfect cottage on the lake! We enjoyed our family time with all of the lake kayaks, canoe and paddle boat. The swing and double hammock really added to the atmosphere. We were able to unplug and enjoy nature at its finest- can’t wait to come back next year!

This is a great location for visiting the Naples area including the Keuka Lake region My wife and I explored the area and were able to catch two concerts at CMAC as well.The house itself is very comfortable and well equipped. The AC units work well.The Books and games come in handy on a rainy dayWe used the Kayaks. There were plenty of life jackets in various sizes. It was also fun watching the purple martins head out over the water to catch insects.There isn't a television however the internet works well so you can watch programs or movies on your tablet or bring a TV to "mirror" your phone. Them Bluetooth sound system is also nice.

Great Rustic Retreat

Thoroughly enjoyed this rustic little lake house. We used it for a training day for our small team, and it worked great. Very warm and comfortable aesthetic.

It really IS a gem! We loved everything - sunsets on the lake, daily kayaking, firpits. And a great "base camp" for going out to hiking spots. Hope to be back soon!

Great place very clean nice not having to deal with stairs. Can't say anything bad. Pet friendly a big plus my Grand dog had a great time.

Lake Vacatin

Enjoyed everything. The only thing I would say is that parking is a little tight.We have a a Nissan Frontier crew cab and it took a little maneuvering to get in and out.

We absolutely loved the location of this property and the home is very nice and well stocked with supplies. The views are gorgeous, the neighborhood super quiet, and just a very nice home to relax in. We really appreciated being able to check out a bit later and the instructions for check in, turning on the heat/turning off the hose in the back were all spot on.The bedrooms were nice size and the beds comfy. For two people, it was plenty of room.There is only one bathroom in the home, which we knew. Unfortunately, the water pressure isn't great (it's not terrible, we've stayed in properties where it's much worse). The one bathroom is also a bit small -- there is really no room/shelves to put toiletries/change of clothes (there are built-in ledges inside the shower, just not in the dry area of the bathroom). Also, my husband didn't love the fact it didn't have a "real" door. It has one of those bifold doors, which is private, but he didn't love it.Other than that, the place is wonderful. You really can't beat the location -- being on the lake with such a picturesque view and near the town of Naples for restaurants, and not a far drive from all the state parks.

Our stay was great at this property. Check in was easy as well. This property is at the very end of the East side of Canandaigua lake, so the seaweed was abundant as far as swimming or fishing goes. The owners have a nice variety of kayaks, canoes and a row boat which was awesome. The cottage is charming and has AC which is a huge plus. The grounds are nice and the view is quite beautiful. We did lose power one day due to a storm, our host was great with communication and helping us get the water turned back on. I would recommend this house, you really can't beat the cost of the rental and you do get a lot of bang for your buck. The only downside is parking is really tight, so ensure that you carpool if possible. There is parking at the top of the hill, but space is limited so try to limit vehicles. Overall, really pretty view and on rainy days there are plenty of books and games to keep you busy. We had a great time with our family and would recommend this hidden gem.
