- This 2-story cabin requires 3 small steps to enter with a bedroom and bathroom on the 1st floor
- UTV rentals are available on-site with a fee
- Your safety matters. This property features 3 exterior security cameras located on the outside of the house facing the road, the cabin, and the RV on-site. The cameras do not look into any interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound when activated by motion
- The homeowner lives on-site in the RV next door and may be present during your stay
- There are other bookable vacation rentals on-site; other travelers may be present during your stay
- Landscaping occurs every other Wednesday around 8:00 AM
- The property features well water, carefully filtered for your convenience, offering a unique and natural experience that may differ from standard municipal water
- Please note that the steep hills leading to the property can become hazardous during snowstorms. While the roads are regularly treated for ice and snow, severe weather can delay snow removal services. This is because hospitals and emergency services take priority before private or secondary roads are cleared. During these times, driving up the hill should be done cautiously at your own risk. We strongly recommend using a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle equipped with snow tires or carrying chains during winter to navigate the conditions safely. Please plan accordingly to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay

Great cabin

Great spot to stay, close to town. Plenty to do within in a few minutes drive. Close to atv trails and gas station. Will definitely book again!

Oct weekend

Very nice cabin. Clean and comfortable place to stay. Close to Deadwood and other sites. Woke up to snow showers on Saturday morning, so beautiful. Quiet and peaceful. Everything you need at the cabin. Would definitely stay again.

Peaceful getaway

Was exactly what we needed for us and our dogs! Centrally located to go to deadwood or down to pactola lake area. Comfort home vides and all the necessities we needed. Would recommend to anyone and have!

Perfect spot of Jeep Camo

Cabin was as advertised. Location was great, right next to the Steel Wheel gas station. Good spot for off roading.

Wolf Cabin

Overall, it was a great stay! The location is perfect for everything we wanted to do, almost halfway between Spearfish and Custer. The cabin and the area around it was clean and quiet minus highway traffic when outside. The twin beds in the cabin we stayed in are were fairly uncomfortable for the middle aged adult (40's). The water tastes fine by the way.

Fun little cabin getaway

This was a fun little cabin to stay in the Black Hills, with good access to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Deadwood. One bathroom did take some coordination for our family of 6 (includes teenagers!). Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere.We arrived after dark and did take a bit to figure out where to go, but access and entry was easy once we found it.

Cozy Cabin

The cabin is in a location outside of a busy tourist area which provided a quiet restful stay. It had everything we needed including a washer and dryer which we were in need of!Only two of us so we did not use the upstairs which has several beds. Nice amount of space and very comfortable over all. We might suggest better signs out by the road indicating the name for these cabins.

It's okay.

We stayed here for the rustic feeling of staying in a cabin. Which for the most part was true. This place could truly be nicer with a few inexpensive changes.1) The door wasn't locked when we arrived, which created a sense of insecurity entering. I did call because we couldn't find the lock box. It was being changed out, so keys were on the table upon entering.2) Dishes were in the dishwasher, dirty from previous renter. It made me aware that most of the pots and pans for use were dirty also. We did dishes before we could even use them. Honestly, just throw them away and buy a new set at the store.3) The grill ignitor didn't work. Only reason we finally got it to work was because my husband does electrical work on the side and figured it out.4) Futon is filthy, full of crumbs and extremely uncomfortable. Needs a new mattress.5) The kids took off the quilts because honestly who washes quilts every day, so we didn't use them, instead used the blankets we hoped were clean from the bedroom.6) We were expected to wash the towels and put them in the dryer before leaving. Which is really hard to do when everyone takes morning showers and we were trying to leave at 8am. Bath towels were in the laundry room instead of the bathroom, which wasn't a huge deal, but did smell a bit musty.7) Honestly we thought we had the wrong cabin at first. The front was not well kept like the others down the road. I'd suggest tossing the couch out that sits on the front porch and getting rid of the broken looking chairs and dirty shoe mat. The grill was off to the side in the grass under a tree.8) Bathroom has no vent so we had to open a window when showering.Overall, it is a great location that is close to a gas station, Deadwood, a place to eat across the road and a mile to the south. It stayed cold inside, but AC units were loud and heat AND AC were both on upstairs. Fridge and stove were handy. The cleanliness was lacking, which gave me the ick on everything I used or did. And we are not a picky family when it comes to being dirty.
