The cabooses interior design was lovely- very clean and nice finishes, amenities inside the caboose well planned. The outdoor fire table and BBQ space was great as well. Pet-friendly! The ladder to the bed is quite steep so just be prepared for that.

The Sagebrush Caboose was the perfect size for 2 people and our 2 small dogs for the weekend. We loved the view and the outdoor sitting area. There was a surprising amount of counter space for a small kitchen and we made some great meals using the hot plate and the outdoor grill. It wasn't quite pool season yet, but we sat in the hot tub and it was lovely!

We had a lovely stay at Sagebrush Caboose, it was a beautiful space with so many thoughtful details. A peaceful location with amazing views, the pool was fabulous, the kids loved it - thank you Jason and family!

Peaceful and neat

We had such a relaxing stay! It was so peaceful, clean and comfortable! The stars are amazing at night and the fire pit was a great place to enjoy nature. The hot tub and pool were lovely. Our host was accommodating and friendly!

The Caboose is something special! Pay attention to the landlord's detailed description of how to find it -- it is located out of sight on a hillside, in splendid isolation, so you won't spot it from the road.The workmanship is beautiful in this caboose-turned-VRBO-rental, and the site is spectacular. We very much enjoyed the cleanliness, the quiet, the outdoor patio, the comfortable beds. The loft is great fun as a place to sleep as long as you don't mind climbing up and down the ladder. We hadn't brought any groceries or take-out, so for dinner, we drove into the little town nearby (about 15 minutes).Highly recommended for something a bit unusual.

Weekend Hideway

We enjoyed the beautiful morning views and peaceful setting. The location is perfect, tucked up in the hills above the road, but easy enough to get to in to town for wine tasting and dining. Host was very responsive when we had a few questions. A lovely weekend!

If you’re looking for a true getaway, a place to truly decompress, connect to nature, and privacy with modern amenities, this is a must try! It is comfort camping minus all the extra work and still close enough to major centers for restaurants, vineyards, and holiday destinations. The care and detail makes this an exceptional experience!Highly recommend - too good not to share!

Sagebrush caboose

This is a beautiful retreat. So peaceful and quiet. The host thoughtfully planned the ti y home. Beautifully decorated inside with all tbe amme ities needed. The outdoor set is equally well thought out. Will definitely go back !

The Sagebrush Caboose is a perfect romantic getaway for two (plus dog) to relax and spend quality time immersed in nature. We saw deer and hummingbirds, had a great view of the valley from the mountainside, and enjoyed natural „aroma therapy“ with the smell of pine needles and sagebrush. The Caboose is very clean and well equipped with everything you need. Very comfortable bedding and towels, soap and shampoo, etc. AC kept the inside cool during the hot summer days. Gas BBQ perfect for outdoor dining. Wifi in the wilderness if you really need to check email. Communication with our host was easy and we were well prepared for the visit. Note that the access to the Caboose is on a gravel road up the hill, so not ideal for a sports car with low clearance, but easily accessible by truck or SUV. If you like to go dining, closest bistro is at See ya later Ranch winery, otherwise Okanagan Falls or Oliver are not too far to drive.

Fantastic getaway from the daily grind!

Our stay was incredible! The tiny home is really well built and nice. The owner has created a fantastic space with an outdoor table, grill, and Adirondack chairs. While we were here, we felt like we were so close to nature. I took my son out on numerous hikes around the property and up in the hills above the cabin. The wood burning stove was so cozy and warm and made the house feel like a tiny haven from the outside world. We enjoyed mornings waking up with no power at all, and just the feeling of the wood burning stove warming the house. I would highly recommend this as a getaway place from the bustle and noise of the city!

Our stay at the Caboose was short but absolutely delightful. The cabin is so well thought out and immaculate. It is a private oasis in a spectacular setting. We are planning to book again to enjoy all the amenities that the farm provides. A unique experience that is now a top destination choice for us. The caboose had ultimate charm, located in a remote part of the property overlooking a rocky canyon which provided a very unique experience with quality and attention to detail of the design, fit and finish. The AC is great over the hot months, and they even had a fan for the loft making it more comfortable. The caboose has everything you need and the host provides every detail. The road up to the caboose is best with an suv, truck or all wheel drive vehicle. Their other units are more accessible for a sport sedan. They have created a unique and beautiful oasis, we would definitely go back.
