We loved our 9 night stay. The house is beautiful, well maintained and well stocked. The hosts were very responsive. The kitchen is great for cooking. Loved the close proximity to the beach. The backyard is a private oasis! The pool is immaculate! We spent most of our days going between the pool and hot tub. If we are in St. Augustine again, we would definitely stay there again.

Just wrapped up a stay here and I gotta say, it was a real treat. The room was cleaner than a whistle, the host was an absolute gem, and that hot tub? Boy, it was fantastic. Parking was a breeze, too. I'm a goldfish, so I only remember the good stuff, and this place was all good. Highly recommend!

Tropical Escape is one of the best designed, decorated and furnished rentals. A lot of planning, thought, and love went into this home. The appliances are very good quality and the new pool is the perfect vacation rental touch! The property managers were easy to reach and very accommodating. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. The walkable beach is one of the most beautiful on the East coast! We will book this property again!

Our stay at Tropical Escape

Location was great, nice quite neighborhood, great pool, very clean, well-stocked with all the kitchen stuff, nice new appliances. master bedroom bed was very comfortable. I forgot to ask my friends about their beds in the other rooms, but they must have been fine since they didn't complain. Things that can be improved: patio table and chair need replacing or be repainted. The hose going to the shower head in the guest bathroom was leaking but not bad enough where we could not use it. The back yard could use some nice plants along the fence to make it look a lot more tropical. There no paper towels when we got there most rentals at least give you one roll so maybe they just forgot to leave one, but we managed using the sponge and kitchen towels. We had trouble controlling the volume on the main TV, none of the three remotes seemed to work to lower or raise the volume, maybe some written instruction near the TV would be helpful. There were plenty of extra pillows in the Master bedroom closet, but I could not find any extra pillowcases in that closet, but I didn't check the other bedrooms closets so maybe there were there.

Quiet side of St Augustine

Very nice little house on the quiet side of St Augustine, away from the crazy tourist traffic and a short walk to one of the widest beaches in Florida. This is a classic florida beach home from the 50s with a very high quality renovation to bring it up to modern standards. We very much enjoyed our stay there.
