The most wonderful hosts, comfortable accommodation, lovely surroundings, wonderful dressing gowns, slippers and toiletries with the added extras . Highly recommend staying here

Lovely cottage for a couple, cosy fireplace, some cooking facilities with the IGA across the road. . Easy walk to the Main Street and the river cruise. Hosts are very friendly and helpful if you need assistance.

Kerry and Kellie were perfect hosts. The cottage is charming - full of old world quirks but with all modern conveniences that worked perfectly We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with old world charm

Kerry and Kellie were lovely and welcoming and the Sir John cottage was very comfortable and warm. It is on a wonderful location and was very relaxing.

Great Heritage feel about the property. Kellie was wonderful and greeted us on arrival to give us a run-down on the place. Very enjoyable stay.

Kerry and Kellie were very welcoming, friendly hosts. The location is excellent…a short stroll down a hill to the main street and also across the road from the only supermarket. We loved the decor, travel pack, bathrobes and the laundry facilities, following 10 days of travel. Helpful tourist information was provided. We were able to leave our vehicle and camper trailer there after checkout, whilst we went on a Gordon River cruise. A very enjoyable 3 night stay.

A beautifully appointed property with some wonderful personal touches and delightful hosts. They’re all prepared for typical remote wifi challenges with supply of a selection of board games and local information to keep you entertained (or relaxed depending on your preference)

A great choice of where to stay in Strahan as it is walkable to the Gordon River Cruise port, dining options and right across the Street from the IGA and pharmacy. Comfortable lodgings, very amiable hosts, and a lovely selection of teas. Good bed with an electric under blanket which was very helpful being the dead of winter. The fireplace and heater in the bathroom were added pluses.

Wonderful accommodation! If you are holidaying in Strahan then this is the place to stay. Doubly so if you have pets. Quiet, peaceful, safe, and with a great little garden for the pups, and a large bath (amongst many other amenities). Really friendly, interesting owners. Highly recommended.

We loved this property due to its uniqueness and historical perspective. We especially loved the fireplace, the seating around the fire, and the extra’s provided for our stay. Hosts were friendly with good communication. Property was clean, well appointed and well maintained with the spa bath a bonus. Thank you.

We stayed in the Church and it was magnificent, the minute we walked in our minds were blown, downstairs had lovely leather single seat winged backed chairs with accompanying Ottomans were great, stained glass windows reflecting coloured light in downstairs. Upstairs there was a king sized roccoco style bed with a huge reading nook that looked back downstairs. If you are looking for somewhere to stay that is unique and extremely well appointed then this is a must.

Charming old cottage that has more than you need, great heating and spa bath. the Owners Kellie and Kerry go out of there way to make you welcome, we arrived to a present they left us a sample pack of Tassie Gin, port to warm you up in the evening. It's right across from the IGA and Pharmacy which is handy and walking distance to all the restaurants, cafes ,pub , whiskey Bar and foreshore, we will back sometime

Cosy cottage stay

Great location and clean and cosy cottage. Off street parking and easy walk to town centre. Cottage had everything you need for a self catered stay and welcoming abd friendly hosts.

Loved the fire place and the little things like the awesome toiletry packs, complimentary port and how the cottage is decorated. It's in a great location within walking distance to all services.

The Church

The Church was cozy and quirky, busy area but quiet at night very convenient to everything in Strahan. Pet friendly was the best bit, our dog loved people watching.
