The property is right in the middle of Alfama which makes it beautiful, but incredibly hilly. Tram 28 runs right outside and it goes throughout the night and can get quite noisy - I sleep with earplugs and they did the job! Aside from the tram, it’s a nice and quiet neighborhood with great restaurants and shops nearby with incredibly kind workers.

The apartment was bright with lots of daylight, and clean. Antonio met us at the door and gave us lots of tips about restaurants and things to see. The bed was comfy! The location is excellent! Walking distance to many sights! Tram 28 is right outside the door. So much fun!

We really enjoyed our time staying in Alfama. The apartment is in a great location and the hosts were super helpful/communicative. We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Lisbon!

The room was very clean and spacious and artfully apointed and the view was amazing. Being in the Alfama district of Alfama was magical. It was also conveniently located to lots of small restaurants and shops, including a small grocer within a block and a lovely cafe just steps away.

The apartment was a good size and clean. The location was perfect. If you’re lucky enough to deal with Antonio, he was super helpful leading up to our stay and checking in.

Antonio met us promptly. Welcome wine arrival gift was appreciated. Great local coffee bar and restaurant recommendations. We will certainly return.

Great location

Great location, apartment was clean and well equipped. Only negative was it was kind of hot at night since there was no AC inside the bedroom. Overall, a truly lovely experience and i would stay here again!

Absolutely wonderful spot. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the area. And the tram stop is right out front. Clean. Tidy. And the handover was super simple and our host had great recommendations.

I would book again! Nice and comfortable!

The communication from the host and co-host was excellent! The apartment was very comfortable, also quite nice and the location was perfect placing us immediately into the action. The check-in instructions were very helpful and accurate In addition we were given tips about the local restaurants, night life and entertainment from the co-host Luisa who was very kind and friendly! We communicated about the area with questions throughout our 4 days stay. I would stay there again!

We had a delay and arrived 2 hours late, around 12.30 midnight. The host was there, smiling and as helpful as he could be. Location is perfect. Tram 28 is right in front of the house, and runs until almost 1 am. Needless to say, coffee houses and markets are within walking distance. Wifi is good. Perfect for 2. 3rd will sleep in the bed in the living room. This is a studio.. We were fine as a family of 3. Even if it is the bottom floor, the light was good. The only caveat is that you need to air the room every day to get rid of the typical smell of these old buildings. But hey, after all, this is Alfama. Kitchen utensils are enough. The bathroom is large and clean with a modern shower. If you do not plan to spend too much time in the house. Good place for Lisbon Oh, if you have a rental car, think twice before you stay at Alfama.

The property itself was great. Personal opinion... larger hot water tank. Host were available to sort out a tv issue...you're welcome. The garbage cans just outside of the door are a nuissance, and makes the area uninviting. Tram is very loud and room shaking, but awesome for travel as the stop is literally outside the door. Overall an excellent hub to plan travel around and visit the city.

Perfect location

It was great to have the space of an apartment rather than hotel room. The location on the old town was lovely and perfect for tram 28 which stopped literally outside the door. Like most of Lisbon, it's an extremely hilly area, so best to get an uber from the airport. There is a newly opened restaurant across the road, Sao Vincente, perfect for breakfast and to get the best view of the 28 tram while enjoying a coffee. We'd definitely stay here again.

The apartment is right on the tram tracks of the famous 28 line. This was very convenient for travel but very noisy when trying to sleep.

Great apartment in a really good location. Spacious, bright, modern and with everything you need inside. Nice View from the windows. The only downside is, the tram from the street is making quite a lot noise in the apartment. On the plus side, tram 28 is going straight to the apartment.

We enjoyed staying at Francisco' place. The apartment was bright and comfortable. The property manager Antonio was very helpful not only on our check in but also on the day of checkout. We accidently left one backpack in the apartment and Antonio came to the rescue to open the door for us retrieving it. It happened on Sunday in the early morning. We really appreciated his help. Both Francisco and Antonio cared about their customers. We will stay with them again when we visit Lisbon.
