This condo provided an affordable alternative to the hotels in the area. Nice interactions with staff. Check in was a little confusing but otherwise everything was great.

I loved the area and the hotel. It has a gym and the property was very clean. It was so easy to book an UBER or just walk to the local restaurants or bars, so no need for a rental. The only complaints that I would have is the mattress was sagging to middle and needs to be replaced. Also, although the light in the bathroom was beautiful, it was dim and hard to do makeup. I would suggest some USB electrical outlets so people have access to charge their belongings. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again.

This hotel asks for a security deposit through paypal and doesn’t let you cancel the reservation which made things suspicious, but I got my deposit back so I was relieved. The area is super nice. When I got to the room, there were wet bedsheets hanging in the closet and there was also wet towels and stuff in the laundry, which caused a bad smell. Other than that I had an enjoyable stay.

The apartment is in a lovely building on the 10th floor, so we had a gorgeous view. The apartment was exactly as described. It's located in a lovely neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and shops, in easy walking distance to the university and more. Make sure you read and follow the check-in instructions. We would love to come back the next time we're in Toronto.

Disappointed

No WIFI, no TV chanels. No hand soap. Shower gel hiden in the bathroom cabinet with other cleaning chemicals. Loundry machine full of linen from previous costumer, do not know if it was clean or not, could not put the towels, we used, to wash it Moldy smell of “ clean” towels in the washroom.

While I thought the property was excellent and it’s location very good and well priced, I found the check-in process to be difficult I needed to meet in someone in person. Also, I didn’t like being directed outside Expedia app to do a separate agreement with the vender including a damage deposit.

This place is poorly managed. Can’t get anyone on the phone with any real authority. Place was dirty. Sheets in the dryer. Moody smell. Uncomfortable bed. Dirty carpets that need replacing. Cleaning supplies left in closet. Checking in you have to awkwardly coordinate via email or WhatsApp and then a lady meets you on the lobby to give you keys who doesn’t really speak English. Any complaints during your stay will go without being addressed . It anything it will be after. We stayed twice because I wasn’t able to get a refund . All their replies are nonsense as you can tell by the SAME complaints still being made/ The ONLY thing good about this place is the location. Honestly spend an extra few bucks a night and stay somewhere else. This is NOT worth it. Anyone who has written 5 stars are delusional or have extremely low expectations.

Check in was 2 hours late because globalstay gave wrong check in information to the cleaner who was supposed to provide me with the key. No accommodation for the inconvenience.

Property is in an excellent location near boutique shops, Yorkville Mall, restaurants and food. A representative met us at check-in and check-out was easy. The apartment itself is very clean, modern and spacious enough for 2. Kitchen is well stocked if you are planning on staying longer and cooking. I only made coffee and used the fridge. Some of the floorboards are separated. Bed was comfortable. Note there is construction in front of the balcony but it was not bothersome when I was staying there. The city noise was more noticeable than the construction. Overall it was a decent place and I would stay there again.

Dirty and disgusting - DO NOT STAY HERE

The apartment is in need of repairs and a deep cleaning. When I contacted the apartment management to let them know of the issues, they didn’t do anything about it. They were the most unhelpful and rude customer service team I have ever dealt with.

The property is brilliant and an amazing area. The communication on arrival was delayed and didn’t help that I was driving there but all worked out in the end. The place is well kept and lovely. The ROM is 5 mins walking distance away. There surrounding areas is all designer shops so very high end people walking around. Parking isn’t as advertised. The nearby parking is extortionate but it’s downtown. It was $37 per day and night (24hrs) no in and out in that period. So we parked up after 6pm and paid the day rate. It was quiet in terms of human noises but there is a construction site opposite which was rather noisy at 8/9am.

Disappointing

Our stay was disappointing. When we arrived, the building had not received our registration, so Globalstay had to send it. We had to wait almost an hour to access the room. The TV did not work, and there was little toilet paper. This is not a hotel and has few services. We had to put our towels to wash when we left and found the washing machine was full of sheets from the previous guests. We also had to load the dishwasher and could not get it to start. We also had to throw out our garbage when we left. The only good thing was the location and the gym.

Unit OK but not fun to stay

Property is ok not more. Check-in process is not easy as you have to text someone who in is turn talk to someone else, it took long time to get in. They ask cash deposit (not credit card hold, realle expense). The unit was small and smelling really bad. They let air dry the bedding sheets inside the closet making the unit extremely humide and smell bad. The sheets in the bed was also smelling really bad like it was forgeten wet in the washing machine for weeks. Only one shower towel was provided wich for us to share it. Theirs no towel renewal during our stay so one towel for 2 person for 3 days !! Price is excessive for what they offer.

I wanted to provide some feedback regarding my recent stay. While I appreciated the location, I encountered quite a bit of noise both when the window was open and closed at night. Additionally, I arrived on Tuesday around 7 PM and noticed that the washer contained wet laundry the next morning. I emailed to inform you that I wouldn't be able to use the towels before my departure due to the bed sheets and towels being left in the machine. The response I received asked me to remove and fold the laundry, which I found quite surprising. Given that I was in Toronto for work and arrived in the evening, I felt this task should have been completed prior to my arrival. Although I did fold the items to be helpful, I was disappointed with this oversight. Thank you for addressing these concerns.

The check-in process was a bit strange, a woman had my photo and came to find me outside, then I had to register at the front desk, and given keys, but not any direction on where to go. I had to ask for the unit number. The room itself was pretty good, but it could've been cleaner overall. The check-in instructions didn't include the correct wi-fi information and after a few back and fourth e-mails with the reservations team, I was able to get connected. There were wet towels and wet sheets hanging in part of the closet that I had to access for the modem, as I had to reset the internet. Overall, the building was quiet and super accessible by transit. However, part of the check-out process was having to empty garbage and run the dishwasher/washer for towels. Overall, the stay was fine, but be prepared for a lot of back and fourth in order to get checked in/out.

I have stayed in 4 different condos in this building. My experience in the previous 3 was excellent. This was my first booking thru Global Stay and this condo is not providing a guest experience comparable to the others I stayed in. If this company is interested in the guest having a memorable experience they must provide hangers, pleasant bath & shower products, a kitchen towel or two, perhaps a couple of wine glasses and a corkscrew. They need to clean the coffee pot. The sliding door window to the deck is absolutely filthy, as is the cast off furniture on the deck. The TV remote does not work. And the child size dollar store umbrella provided made it necessary to purchase a more reasonable model. The bed was very comfortable but the linens are tired and wrinkled. I will not be booking again with Global Stay.
