At the moment the reservation was made, a mail with the check in information was supposed to be sent to my mail but it never arrived, so I called a lot of times to the university and after insisting a lot I got the confirmation mail to check in. The place was not super clean and the bathroom was in very bad condition. The only good thing (besides the prices) was the location. Not in my plans to make a reservation here again. I prefer to spend a little more money for a better place.

The facilities lack the cleanliness, order, and functionality one would expect from apartments in Switzerland; there was mold on the curtains, bathrooms were missing fixtures, chairs were broken, burnt-out light bulbs, and the TV didn't work—among other issues that leave much to be desired. The photos of the facilities don't compare at all to the reality. I do not recommend these apartments; it feels like a run-down hostel.

A comfortable stay, in a spacious apartment, near by the University. Kitchen setup is adequate to prepare basic meals; only a dual cooktop, no grill/ oven. surprisingly there were no coffee mugs and only one set of cutlery, despite being otherwise well appointed for a couple to stay.

It was good for a 1-night stay. Room and shower is very small, not like the pictures showed. But for the price you get what you pay for.

The flat I stayed had a good view and its bed was comfortable. However, it was hard to open cover of washing machine and inside of dishwasher had bad smell.

the location is good. tram station is just in front. from and to the airport, one tram ride away. the hotel needs repair here and there. it is a quiet and seems a safe neighbourhood. there is store in front and bakery by the side. the laundry area looks dirty, so i did not use them.

Would like a refund, it was so gross, didn't look like what I paid for overall. It felt unsafe and the room was so gross I couldn't even lay down in the bed no a good choice so expensive too

Perfect if you don’t plan to be in the room

The place was fine. It was budget friendly and close to the city center with a tram stop very close. If you’re looking for suggestions on Switzerland accommodation, a tram stop being close was great. The shower overflows so fast and the curtains are laying in the water. The bathroom is so small it’s hard to function, and the balcony has a huge puddle of water that smells bad. The balcony has one chair that you can sit on if you want to jump the puddle. We didn’t stay in the room much unless we were sleeping.

The bedding was stained with body waste including menstural blood and urine. There were holes in doors and light fixtures without bulbs. There was nothing to wash or dry dishes with. If we had known any of the above we would not have booked a stay at this property.

This apartment do not meet the conditions to stay . Tv install to far from the electrical plug No utensils on kitchen to cook The bed and pillows unacceptable The toilet was dirty and smell Apartment located on 3rd floor with out elevator From train station to the apartment google map indicate 15 minutes but you have to claim 200 stairs I never come back

When I enter the property, the smell in the room was choking me. I could not open the window or that mental thing in the window. Inside was clean but the smell was terrible. It's very far from the train station and the room was all the way from 4th floor or 5th floor without a lift. Very inconvenient for me , especially if you have a heavy luggage . I left after 20 mins in this room, I wasn't happy at all. I emailed Expedia about my experience for this property. I check in to another property which i was satisfied.

First, the good: check-in is easy, the apartment is incredibly spacious, and with a balcony. Well-located, just steps away from a tram stop and a grocery. The bad: zero amenities. No soap of any kind, not even dish soap. By my count, the complete amenities list is three forks, a spoon, a pot, a used sponge, three dishes, and toilet paper. No bowls, so if you want cereal, you’re eating it out of a pot. The oven and refrigerator work, but the dishwasher does not. No coffee paraphernalia. There is a laundry, but it’s in a haunted basement down a cobwebby stairwell, so I can’t speak to it. The decor is bleak and furniture is basically “2008 IKEA gone to seed.” Functional, but falling apart in the specific way that 20 year old color-by-numbers furniture decays. There’s some Jackson Pollock-esque food splatter above the stove, as if a pot of baked beans exploded three years ago. Oh, did I mention the ant infestation? They travel in an ant superhighway from the bathroom to the bedroom. Attempts were made (blocking holes, poisoning paths) to disrupt their activities but they found different routes. At a certain point, we conceded that we were living in the ants’ apartment and made efforts to coexist. I ate my cereal out of the pot with the only spoon and marveled at the adaptive sophistication of the ant colony.

The lack of cordiality and poor communication sum up my perception of this place! Since everything is done virtually, good communication is essential. The host doesn't respond to emails, doesn't answer calls…! When messages are sent, they're standard. If you're staying at this place, be aware that nothing can go wrong; otherwise, it's difficult to resolve with the owner. Not to mention other details like a four-burner stove that only works, no dish sponge, no dish towel… etc. I don't know if the owner can come here to explain with pre-written phrases that it's good to have this feedback… In any case, I honestly don't believe that, as it's in his nature; he just transmits this personality to his customer service.

Liked the fact that the local bus stop was right outside the apartment complex. Disliked the dirty stairs that led up to the apartment. Once inside, closed the door and the inside door handle fell to the floor. My husband was able to fix that. There were 2 glasses, different sizes, some cutlery but no forks, no bowls, no pots or pans. The shelf in the fridge would not stay in the runners, The bathroom door was badly banged up, the towel rack was hanging and unable to use. The bedroom door, meant as a sound barrier had a panel missing in the door. I took pictures and if there is a way I will attach them to this review!!!

Good location and good price for Zürich, just ok

First I have to mention we were there during a heat wave, without that the stay would have been more pleasant. Our studio was on the top floor, so it was really hot. There is no air conditioning, which I knew, but also the shutters on one of the windows were permanently shut, so we could not create a draft to cool down during the night. Some of the other apartments had balconies, so I assume they had better options for airing out. There is a cute little patio at the back of the house, but we did not stay long enough to use it. The Apartment was facing the busy street with the tram, so it was kind of noisy, since we had to have the windows open. The apartment is very functional, but a bit worn. Everything was clean, this is Switzerland, but there was no love in the place, just functionality. Getting the key with the automated system worked great and was very easy, good instructions. Zürich is extremly expensive, so we were glad we found this place so conveniently located, but for the same amount of money in Hamburg, I stayed at a very nice hotel.
