The Panama City Beach Conservation Park is a vast pine plantation and cypress dome restoration area. With loop trails ranging in length from 0.6 to 11 miles, the park encompasses nearly 3,000 acres of protected land featuring mostly flat paths, and boardwalks.

Camp Helen State Park is a hidden gem on the western border of Panama City Beach. It sits between the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Powell - one of the largest coastal dune lakes in the state of Florida. Commodore condo
Our stay at the commodore was great for the most part. The only complaint we had was the couch and love seat in the unit was so dirty we had to put comforters over them we found in one of the back closets to even be able to sit on them they were so grungy feeling. They definitely need to invest in some new one! And as far as Amber, our itrip vacations helper, she was great! She responded quickly to any concerns we had and was very helpful!

Awesome view and balcony!
The stay was amazing. The view above with the wrap around balcony from the 9th floor definitely is a highlight of this rental. Morning coffee, afternoon sun, evening drinks on the balcony and listening to the waves were some of our favorite things. Being able to look down at the kids on the beach or in the pool made it so much better than other rentals that we have had where we had to walk a distance to get to the beach (Siesta Key). The weather helped and was beautiful all week, upper 70’s, first week of April 2023. Being from Northern Indiana, I was concerned that mid to upper 70’s wouldn’t be warm enough, but we had plenty of sun and didn’t stay out all day because of how hot it felt. Forecast said cloudy everyday, but it wasn’t. The location was very family friendly and quiet, which was a pleasant surprise as many told us PCB is a crazy spring break destination. It was dead and perfect for our family (5 girls 10-17). The bar next door has live music which can be an issue if you want to sleep before 10pm only heard from the room with two full/queen beds. Before I booked I reached out to the owner about the refrigerator, asking if it worked, since there were some negative reviews. The owner replied that it worked. Once I booked I received an email stating to wait 24 hours before complaining about the fridge not working (interesting). The first few days we had trouble with the fridge doors staying shut and all the ice melting in the freezer. Once we figured that the doors have to be checked on, and I turned the temperature down, we were much happier. The ice machine worked fast to catch up with all the lost ice. The owner should definitely upgrade the fridge. For a place that sleeps up to 10, on vacation, the doors get opened a lot. The last thing I want to worry about on vacation is the fridge working. Overall the place was clean. The tvs had apps we connected our streaming services up to and came with Direct TV. The countertops and faucets need updated, but it all worked fine and was clean. We did not see any bugs. The view and balcony made up for any deficiencies we experienced.

Great trip!
We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Commodore! There was plenty of space and it had all of the necessities we needed for our trip! Amber was awesome and even helped facilitate retrieving husbands hat from the next door condos. We will be back!!
