The room I got was different from the pictures when I booked. Called the host, they promised to call back but never did. The room was old and dated. Dirty and sticky floor. Stained and dirty carpet. The only good thing is the location. Unless they update the place, I would not be back.

Big condo-style space. Very comfortable though the ac was in the front lounge and not the bedroom? Checkin was confusing. The desk closes 30 mins after it opens. Parking is not clear (another guest had to explain the rules) and we couldnt locate the correct building for our room. After that a lovely experience.

The apartment was across the street from the beach! It was spacious with lots of extra towels. There is no elevator up to the 3rd floor. Everything seemed to be pretty clean. We spotted a few cockroaches in the kitchen and some crawled on the couch.

Beautiful property, very clean. Pool and hot tub were well kept and the staff made sure the property was secure and safe.

The location of Building 2 is ocean front, so your view is extraordinarily beautiful and amazing, spending hours on the lanai viewing the ocean and waves every morning and evening. The unit is equipped with essentials to help make your visit to Kona more affordable if you eat from the unit- fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, plates, pans, essentials, etc. Wifi/internet worked well. The long entry keylock code can be changed to an easier 4 digit personalized code by the front desk personal if you have problems changing it with the online instructions like I did-thank goodness because entering a 10 digit code each time on an 2 week+vacation would drive me crazy! Btw, the front desk staff were helpful and friendly, showing the ALOHA spirit that is getting harder to find around the island these days iykyk.....Great unit, highly recommend for its location and oceanfront view, it is clean; although may not be up to everyone's standards if you are looking for top notch, more modern furnishings, unit is showing its wear. Parking under building available, some sort of maintenance/repair appears to be ongoing-could hear during daytime at pool area. There are outside has shared gas grills, sea area has lava rocks, making swimming challenging in the area-however the surfers had no problem - were entertaining to watch surfers cutting it up and having fun! Need to mention onsite PokeShack has tasty poke', convenient, very popular to locals & visitors pricey but taste great!

This hotel is more than its excellent views, oceanside restaurant, incredible staff, and close proximity to downtown’s vibrant life. This is a place where I did not feel like a tourist. I felt like someone who belonged. There is nothing artificial about this place. Everything feels authentic, wholehearted, well-meaning, and genuinely welcoming. I never feel like I am simply checking in when I come here. I feel like I am stopping by somewhere my face is remembered after only a two-day visit — and where the prices are just as welcoming. In a world where so many places feel designed only to impress, this one somehow manages to feel human first. That is rare, and it is something people remember long after the ocean view fades into memory.

It had adequate parking and plenty of towels. Wish we had noticed a beach chair in one of the closets. Check in and out was super easy. I thought it'd be a little closer to all the shops and restaurants but oh well. It had a window unit AC in the living room only so the bedroom could get a little stuffy. Also, if you left any dirty dishes in the sink for even a day, you'd get what looked like baby roaches in the sink and on the counter. They weren't very frequent.

Everything there was great for what I paid. Parking,Clean apartment. Great kitchen. Bathroom huge with plenty of towels. Ac worked great and ceiling fans. Washer and dryer. Plus they leave you a Welcome package. Accessible to restaurant, beach, malls.

The room was cool and quiet. Parking was easy and there was always a spot available. The condo had a TV and Wi-Fi and games available to play. Having a full kitchen was nice to be able to buy groceries and not eat out every night. The pool and hot tub across the street were excellent and the staff was friendly.

Our stay was not at all as described. We thought we were getting an ocean view with laundry. Instead we had to cross a road for both a view and laundry. Will not return or recommend.

We liked the location, access to pool and shoreline bbq sites. The suite was clean but lacking some amenities. We were promised beach stuff but there was only one chair and a cooler. The digital lock system was difficult to use so we had to get a physical key so we wouldn’t get locked out.

All good, no ocean view, no elevator, cockroaches but that's pretty normal for Hawaii. This is across the street from the main kona bali kai.

This unit was listed as "mountain view," but it just faced a very noisy, busy road. The bedroom was a dark, windowless, stuffy room. A very noisy floor fan was provided, and the living area had a noisy wall air conditioner. The unit was clean but pretty dated. The main building (picutred in the listing) and beach area were nice, but I would not recommend staying in a unit across the street that faces the street.

This property is located on popular Ali' i Drive, It is across this busy road from the ocean front larger units of Kona Bali Kai. The ocean view of the breaking waves can be seen through the parking garage. The one-bedroom garden units facing the street are ocean view in this manner. All units have keyless entry and is not working for this unit. Management said that is a big problem forcing us to use a key box that also exists and threatens a $150 charge if the key is lost. We never carried the key. The parking for these units can be limited and make it necessary to park in the parking garage across the busy street. This unit looked clean but had a roach problem. We found them in the kitchen flatware drawer, on the counter tops, in the bathroom and on the floor, For this reason we kept our dishes we wanted to use in the refrigerator. \ The bedroom window has wooden louvre slats that do not close. A few nights there was noise coming from outside with people chatting and laughing and every morning about 5 a.m. automatic garden sprinklers came on right outside the window. There are ceiling fans in the main room and bedroom. The ceiling lights turn on when they want to many times a night, The main area has a room air conditioner that works well to cool the room down after returning from site seeing during the day. It is not adjustable but we found the fans were enough to sleep.

The bathroom was clearly not cleaned well. The shower, floor and toilet stank of pee that could be smelled all the way to the bedroom. The floor was filthy and my feet turned black after walking around barefoot for 2 minutes. They need to clean the units.
