We were put in a room on the parking level of the building with a ground level, very dark room in the area where people take their dogs to do their business. The trash can for the dog bags was right by our living room windows. Gross. Being on the parking level separated from the rest of the hotel and the village was really depressing.
The unit was actually okay but missing some basic things comparable ski village condos would have (things like coffee filters for the provided coffee pot). I was also directly next door to the laundry room in which I dumped my clothes and soap just to find out the payment system didn't work.
However, the very biggest issue was the furniture. I have never in all of my life experiences come across furniture so low-quality that you could barely use each piece. The recliner seems to have been recovered but was hard with metal wires and a spring just under the surface and armrests that were lumpy with soft spots between what felt like more metal edges. The couch had cushions that had been restuffed with too much ultra soft material that would kind of push you off to the sides. My family hated it. We had wanted to watch the World Cup final in our room but sitting on that furniture was too much. Likewise, the bed made metal noises when you laid on it and you could, again, feel all of the metal innards of it.
This was worse than the junk furniture my friends had in college! I got no response from calling the lobby or messaging management. Miserable.
