About the host
Hosted by Ruth
I have lived in Shepton Mallet all my life and love the area, there is so much to do and see and I still come across places I haven't visited before. I'm a yoga and Tai Chi instructor. In my spare time I run a pizza company which has been successful for the last 25 years!!! I have three children 28, 25 and 20 years old. My friendly mutt Marley and I know all the lovely walks in and around the Mendip Hills. My favourite pastime is out in the country side walking with my dog.
My life motto is Yogam Sharanam Gachami ( I take refuge in my yoga)

Why they chose this property
When I was a little girl this was the local cobblers shop the road ran through to the High Street. My partner and I bought this house in 1988 and after a thorough restoration downstairs we opened a restaurant calling it Cobblers Restaurant .We ran the restaurant for 8 years and then decided to close and run a pizza delivery busines while the children were small. We are still running the pizza business now alongside our holiday let.
What makes this property unique
You will love the small courtyard terrace garden that Dean has lovingly developed over the years into our secret garden. You can while away the summer evenings sitting on the roof terrace until the sun goes down with a vino or two, a little bit of the Mediterranean ambience in Somerset!!
