About this property

Eartha, a furnished bell tent in field and woodland surroundings

Eartha a Baby Moon Bell, is a cosy 5m space with comfy beds and a stick stove to warm you up before bed. Set atop a decking it comes with a picnic table and fire pit. Eartha decor tunes into earth tones. On-site there are nearby water taps and communal toilet/shower blocks.
Baby Moon is a tranquil field and woodland space to decompress and spend time together . We believe fire is central to the Baby Moon experience. Light your campfire, dance and leap and celebrate the power of the flame. You are able to snuggle in front of the embers of your own private fire pit or the Baby Moon hearth fire can be lit for all our visitors.
Nearby attractions include the North York Moors National Park, the Heritage Coast and the seaside towns of Saltburn-by-the-Sea and Whitby.
Please note that Eartha is suitable for 2 adults and 2 children,. 4 adults will need to book 2 accommodations.

A handful of years ago Aimee and her little daughters, Dolores and Cicely, had a notion to find a field, build a yurt and a compost loo and live there for a while. Along came a rather unusual man who said ‘let me invest in your dream’. And so Baby Moon was born. We gathered a strong ‘family’ of friends and family and good-hearted supporters (they know who they are) and the success of Baby Moon is owed to them. Our prime intention was to create a beautiful space to spend time in. We hope that you will spread-eagle in the middle of the field or wander the enchanted wood waiting for a Unicorn to amble by

Sensitivity to People, Community, and Environment are at the fore of all we do. Renewable Energy, Rainwater Harvesting, and Composting are a crucial part of the site, it's hard and we are always working on ways to become better.

Supporting local suppliers, growers, designers/makers, and others who share our values are at the heart of this project.
