This charming and cosy barn conversion is situated right in the heart of the Nork York Moors National Park. The perfect base with glorious views, a wood burning stove and your own private hot tub.. Ground Floor:

Bathroom: Bath, Toilet. LPG central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate.. Back garden with patio and garden furniture. Hot tub for 5 (private, Apr- end Oct). 2 small/medium dogs welcome, to be kept on leads at all times (farm animals nearby). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking or e-cigarettes. Please note: Sorry, no hen or stag parties. Couples and families only.. Stable Cottage makes the most of its views and location, where you can enjoy the incredible scenery across the valley of moorland. The cottage has an authentic country feel with all your comforts from home. The open-plan living/dining room boasts incredible views, with two sofas around the wood-burning stove. The generous kitchen is equipped for all your culinary needs, with an adjacent utility room. Upstairs are three bedrooms including a super kingsize bedroom with en-suite, a twin, and a single bedroom. Outside, the private patio is complete with a hot tub (included in your stay from the beginning of April until the end of October). Beyond the patio, there is a large open paddock that can be enjoyed by guests during warmer months.
The location boasts wonderful footpaths, cycle routes, and bridleways all from your doorstep, enjoying views through forests and over the rolling moorland. Rosedale Abbey, 1½ miles away, offers a couple of pubs, cafés and a village shop. There’s also a small pitch and putt golf course with a second larger golf course around a 15-minutes away. The ‘Old Ironstone Railway’ walk runs around the valley, and you can stop off at the inn for some local ales and traditional food.
The Yorkshire Cycle Hub at Fryup offers cycle hire alongside an excellent cafe. Dalby Forest is also great for cycling, with cycle hire and other adventure activities including zip wiring through the treetops. Be sure to visit Ampleforth Abbey with its serene Church and grounds to explore at your leisure. Ampleforth has a lovely tearoom open in the summer, as well as orchards and a cider mill. Nearby Hutton-le-Hole offers a fantastic day out and even has its home-made chocolate shop. Fancy a stately home? Then look no further than Castle Howard, well worth a trip and a beautiful day out.
You’re also within easy reach of Pickering, boasting The North Yorkshire Moors Railway which goes all the way to Whitby. You are only a 30-minute drive from the heritage coast, with Whitby, Scarborough, Robin Hood Bay, and Staithes all within easy reach.
