The village is located approx. 18 km south of Bad Wildungen and offers offers real quiet and recreation. You only have to walk 200 metres to reach the 156-km long, well-known Kellerwaldsteig that runs directly past the house. Excursion destinations include Bad Wildungen with its mine, Europe's largest spa park, Friedrichstein Castle or a hike up the Homberg.
