The village has many restaurants, a weekly market, and nice shops. At the edge of Putten, you can take a breath of fresh air at Nulde Beach. Putten has a train station, and the bus takes you to about a 10-minute walk from the bungalow. You can rent bikes at Putten station and various other locations.
