Exquisite Bay Views. Charming Cottage.

Come rest, relax and be renewed in this charming beach cottage which offers exquisite views across the Bay to Mount Baker, when the grand lady shows herself, and is a haven for eagles, deer and a variety of aquatic life. You will probably view sea lions bobbing in the bay from time to time, and even an orca or two may surprise you as you enjoy breakfast or a coffee on the patio. An easy walk or drive to the beach at Diamond Point.

The beach-cottage is cozy and bright with two bedrooms (including a Queen bed in each), one-and-a-half bathrooms, a kitchen, and plenty of room to lounge inside or out on the deck. The cottage is at the end of a cul-de-sac, so you’ll have all the privacy you need.

Amenities include: Kitchen (including coffee-pot, full stove, fridge, microwave, toaster & crock-pot).

This is the perfect place for anyone looking to have a peaceful getaway and enjoy the everything the Olympic Peninsula has to offer! The hosts are very communicative and the house is clean and well kept. There are tons of wildlife (eagles, otters, seals, deer, and more!) you can see from the porch or strolling along the beach. We had great access to different hikes in ONP (though plan for a bit of driving) and plenty of restaurants in shops in the surrounding towns. Highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting the area!

Great place in great spot with lovely view. The place is sized well for small people. We are quite tall and hit our heads repeatedly on low ceilings on top floor, but that likely won’t be a problem for most. The couches in living room are also sized for small people. The beds were comfortable though the downstairs bed is in a small room such that there’s barely room to walk around the bed. Still, think most will find this place to be great.

We were looking for a last minute location for our trip up to Olympic national park. This property was so serene and lovely near the water and with a view of the water. Hosts were available to communicate with when issues came up. Helped out to their best abilities. We are grateful for a place a rest and calm.The Shalom Chalet Beach Cottage is a must stay. It is in a great neighborhood and place to find peace and calm.
