Awesome property and stay, our 2nd time here, and we will be back. Beautiful mountain views and wildlife, but close to everything Asheville has to offer.
The place was very clean, the view on porch was beautiful being able to watch the sun rise and set. Could use more eating utensils for (8) and measuring cups, so not having to do dishes before next meal. The host was great with quick response when reaching out Will definitely make this trip again.
The location was fantastic for our trip. We didn't drive more than 20 minutes to any of our planned activities. And the view from the front porch was beautiful. We even got to enjoy a lovely sunset our first night. The cabin itself could use a good deep cleaning, and also quite a bit of updating to make the stay more comfortable for guests - especially in the kitchen and bathroom. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. ps- The minute we arrived while unpacking the car, we were greeted by wild turkey crossing the road, and a bear foraging just down the hill. That was pretty special!
Lovely place to stay for a weekend. Cozy spot with the basics, close to downtown. Caught two bear sightings which was neat. Some reviews mentioned issues with hot water but we didn’t run into any hot water problems!
My boys and I did a mom son trip to Asheville to celebrate the oldest son's graduation. We loved this cottage!! The neighborhood is nice and beautiful, and we were ecstatic to see bears every day. Momma bear even performed a playful somersault down the hill the first night we arrived. It's a great little house in a fantastic location. Highly recommend!!
Very responsive host. Beautiful serene location. Turkeys parading by every afternoon were delightful to watch from the deck. Older cabin so expect some imperfections but it was a wonderful stay.
