Marco Island is one of our favorite places to visit. We love staying at the Apollo for the location and having the Sunset Grill on property. I would always recommend staying at the Apollo. Pool area is nice and having the beach just steps away is very convenient.

Location was good and the view was great. But all the rules! You’d think a turtle SWAT team would kick in the door if your curtains accidentally parted at night. Then condo rules themselves posted everywhere, repeatedly. Kind of felt oppressive. Bathroom renovation was kind of rough but otherwise nice condo for two or family with a couple of small children.

Beach view was excellent, adjoining restaurant was good, it was a little confusing checking in because the phone outside was not working therefore it was difficult to get the on site workers attention. We ended up waiting for someone to come out so we could get to the on site persons office. Condo had everything we needed including beach chairs, umbrella etc even a fishing pole and shell scoop. Walk to the beach was easy and pool was very nice and clean.

Loved it! Checking in was not smooth…. We had flown in from TLH and were very hot and tired but once we entered the room, it was wonderful! Host replied immediately and got the checking in problem worked out. The interesting thing is you cannot enter the building without a key and so you have to pound on the door or wait till somebody enters in order to go in and you have to check in with the office there. You can’t go to your room without a key to use the elevator so that was a problem too since the keys were in the apartment.

We love staying at the Apollo 804. The bed was comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Clean. We would have preferred blackout curtains for the bedroom and improved quality of the beach chairs.
