The view is amazing. Stop by the store on your way in. The gravel road to the house is intimidating but really fun. You better have 4WD.

Loved it. Great view from 3400 ft above sea level. Im glad i drove a all wheel drive vehicle because of the steep hills and gravel. But all in all no proublems and very worth it. Will book again.

Fantastic view. Make sure to have that 4 wheel drive vehicle. Road is rough gravel and rocks. This place is perfect for a silent retreat.

This cabin was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway! It’s clean, private & the perfect layout for a couple. We loved the balcony views & having a fire pit. We will definitely be back!

The view was phenomenal, but the road was absolutely treacherous! We were pleased with the overall appearance of the cabin, but I did have to clean the oven before I could use it. There is a serious ant problem, although most were taken care of from the pesticide.If you have living/visiting on top of a mountain on your bucket list, this one marks it off.

The Mountain View was super impressive. On a scale of one to 10 I would give the view a 12. Not only was the view amazing but the cabin itself was beautifully laid out and we had a very relaxing time.

The views from the porches are amazing! The privacy & views of the mountain ridges & valley filled & refreshed our souls! The first trip up the mountain was daunting b/c of the road condition. But after that it was no trouble driving up & down the gravel road! Beth responded quickly to our messages & is a lovely hostess. The towel warmer is a luxurious amenity!

Great Stay!

We've stayed at this property several times and always look forward to the peace, quiet and breathtaking views! Communication with the owners is great and they're super responsive. Will definitely be staying here again!

Scenic view of Henderson Mountain. Definitely need a car that can handle 3 vertical miles of switchbacks to get there, and completely worth it.

Peaceful stay

Very peaceful, great location, lots to see and do or just relax. Beautiful place, definitely recommend staying here, but make sure you have 4wd, and pay attention when driving down and up the mountain so you dont end up in a ditch like we did lol. Owners were spot on when we had questions easy to work with.

Quiet cabin with amazing views

Beautiful, quiet, great views cabin. The cabin was very clean and I appreciated all the cleaning supplies in case the cleaning crew missed a spot, which they didn't. Thank you for accomodating us! We had another great vacation in NC.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! The place was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing weekend. The views from the porch were absolutely stunning — especially during sunrise and sunset. It’s tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful, but still close enough to town for groceries and restaurants.Our host was great — very responsive and easy to communicate with. Check-in was seamless, and the directions were clear. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout the cabin.We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet mountain escape!

Perfect cabin atop the mountain

The cabin looks even better than in the photos. The view is spectacular and the space is really nice. The check in / check out process went smoothly. The road up the mountain was a little steeper and rockier than we expected, but our RAV4 managed alright.

Wonderful retreat

The home is very quiet and peaceful. It has all the amenities you need, comfortable beds, amazing balconies to enjoy a cup of coffee and conversation. The hosts information was timely and accurate. No problems whatsoever.
