We encourage you to bring along a box of frozen and prepared treats. You can import all foodstuffs for personal use without difficulty providing you *do not bring* in fresh produce or fresh seafood. Bringing coffee, tea, biscuits, condiments, canned and packaged delectables as well as frozen steaks and fish will save you time, trouble and expense upon arrival.
On your way in from the airport, we suggest you ask your taxi driver stop at the nearest market to pick up perishables such as milk, eggs, baked goods etc…

We had a great week! The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Enjoyed sitting on patio watching the sunsets.If any mobility issues, the place is on a steep hill. Would recommend and stay again.

This is a lovely studio in a quiet part of the island. Kacey and Diana were great hosts - always available and helpful. The view from the property, especially at sunset, is terrific. I highly recommend exploring Hogs Bay Park, which is a just a few minutes walk from the apartment. The stretch on the water is pristine. Highly recommended for fit, DIY travelers.

The hosts were lovely, and the apartment was clean and quiet. Were very disappointed that the hot tub was not working as that was the only reason we booked this place. No hot tub, no beach access. I agree with the other reviews stating that if you are older or have mobility issues, this is not the place for you. Extremely steep hill that you have to bring your luggage down and up, also not the easiest location for taxis to find you or turn around at.
My wife and I stayed at the St. Regis at the beginning of our trip and then changed locations to see a different side and view of Bermuda. Our stay here was wonderful and the owner (Kacey) is an all around nice guy and excellent host. He came out to introduce himself and show us how to use the hot tub and umbrella which is the location for the beautiful view! What ideally drew us to the property was that they have a Twizy charger for electric rental cars which we were able to take advantage of. One word of caution is that is you do rent an electric car, just be aware that the home is at the bottom of a very steep road so getting up it with the car takes some SPEED. Overall, great stay and great views!

The views are great. Clean . Quite area. Apartment is outdated, mattress is old and very wobbly. Hot tub is not fully functional and is outdated. Too many rules and charges if you break the rules . Steep road to the apartment. if you’re renting an electrical car you need to park on top rd and have to walk down a steep road. Not recommended if you have mobility issues. It is reasonable price, but don’t have high expectations. Bring laundry detergent with you if using the washing machines.

Since you made your reservation, it has been quite challenging. You appear to be very particular, anxious, and insecure, and I found myself having to provide you with the same information multiple times. The instructions for check-in and check-out are straightforward, so I am unsure why you felt overwhelmed by them. You mentioned that the apartment is updated; however, this is merely your personal perspective. We strive to furnish it with the best amenities available. It features IPTV for viewing channels from around the world, as well as a microwave, stove, toaster oven, coffee maker, and refrigerator. Additionally, it is equipped with Alexa for music enjoyment. The dining table is accompanied by a queen-size bed, internet access, and numerous other amenities that enhance our guests' experience. Upon your arrival, you were informed that the hot tub was available for use, although the jets required replacement. Living on an island sometimes means that we cannot source items immediately, which is why we had to arrange for shipping. Concerning your comment about the mattress being old and unstable, I wonder what basis you have for that opinion. Perhaps you are experiencing back issues. As for the Twizy parking, it is designed to be more convenient for our guests and is located only about 30 steps from the apartment door. Additionally, if you wish to use the washer for your own laundry, you will need to purchase your own detergent.
You neglected to mention that we assisted with all your needs to such an extent that my husband took you and your daughter to the grocery store. There is no need to worry about your lack of knowledge. You are welcome. I must point out that the check-out instructions were only partially followed, the floors were somewhat dirty, some trash was left in the apartment, and your daughter forgot half of her bathing suit. We cannot recommend you to other hosts. You are quite a nervous wreck.
Kasey & Diana were excellent hosts. Property had excellent views and hot tub was clean and functional. Couple things to note is if renting a scooter the terrain is very hilly so be careful if this is your choice. Also, there is no direct beach access from property so if that is your preference you will need some transportation. Otherwise we had an excellent stay and will book again.

AVOID!"We booked this property for a romantic getaway, but it quickly became an intrusive, stressful, and deeply disturbing ordeal. The listing is completely misrepresented, and the host's behavior is beyond unacceptable.1. Host Intrusion, Surveillance, and Safety HazardsElectronic Monitoring: We unplugged an Amazon Alexa unit that was pulsing green, confirming the host was attempting to monitor our private conversations via the "Drop In" feature.Unapproved Entry & Surveillance: The host admitted to entering the unit without our permission while we were out. They repeatedly knocked on the door and sent messages demanding to know exactly when we would return.Safety Hazard: The property is down an extremely steep hill that taxis and delivery drivers refused to navigate. The host repeatedly ordered us to turn off all exterior lights and turned them off themselvesw when we tried to leave them on for late night returns, making the dangerous path unlit and completely unsafe to walk at night.Negligent Handling of Belongings: The host's "solution" for us hanging wet clothes in the bathroom was to place them on my opened suitcase containing electronics—a reckless and inappropriate action.2. Harassment and The Fraudulent 300 ChargeThe situation escalated to outright harassment and fraud after we checked out early due to feeling completely surveilled and unsafe:

I wish to caution fellow hosts regarding these guests. They exhibited a high level of dishonesty, departing the premises prior to their scheduled check-out time. They inflicted damage on our property and failed to acknowledge it. Their conduct is entirely unacceptable, and they also made unfounded accusations without any evidence. They are disorganized, untidy, and exceedingly disrespectful. They requested assistance in purchasing groceries but did not compensate us for it. Additionally, they are smokers and, predictably, smoked on the patio and in the property, disregarding our request to refrain from doing so. Furthermore, the lady, despite being aware of the instructions, chose to use the hot tub during her menstrual cycle. They did not adhere to the complete check-out process. In all honesty, they are a complete mess and very dishonest. Please keep them way from your property.
To clarify, we only included Alexa in the apartment because many previous guests had requested it. We consistently consider the feedback we receive to enhance our services. For numerous guests, utilizing this device in the apartment is quite convenient, as it allows them to set alarms or listen to music. Therefore, if you felt uncomfortable with Alexa, you could have informed us, and we would have unplugged it for you. Additionally, we have no intention of overhearing anyone's conversations; we genuinely and profoundly respect our guests' privacy. We were unaware of the drop-in feature, and since you seem to be familiar with it, perhaps you are the one listening to private conversations. So you know we have full time jobs
I visited the apartment to deliver the toilet paper you requested. I informed you that it would arrive shortly by the way you didn’t tell me what you weren’t there, and the door was unlocked, I briefly entered to leave the item. This was communicated to you without any immediate concerns being raised. After leaving the toilet paper, I notified you about this, and your response was a simple thank you; no complaints were made. How many times did I knock on the door? As far as I know, I did not have the misfortune of meeting you in person. My husband did, and he provided you with the assistance you needed. To clarify, when I inquired about your return time, it was because I wanted to extend a warm welcome to our property and to provide you with the receipt for the groceries we purchased for you, which you did not have the courtesy to pay us for.
We never requested that you turned off the exterior lights. Upon my arrival to deliver the toilet paper, I observed that the lights in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom, as well as the AC unit, were left on. As mentioned in the property information folder, which I strongly recommend all guests review, it is crucial to turn off all small appliances, indoor lights, and the AC due to the high electricity costs on the Island. It is not accurate either to say that taxis and delivery drivers declined to navigate. Many of our previous guest successfully ordered food and taxi services without any problems. While we are situated down a hill, a skilled driver can navigate the area.
It was evident that both of you were in a rush, as your possessions were scattered all over the place. I genuinely felt that it was quite a mess; I could not see where you had placed your wet clothes, and if you chose to put them in your suitcase, that was entirely your decision. You could ask to use the dryer but you didn’t. I observed towels hanging in the kitchen cabinets, which I found weird since there was a cloth rack available in the closet for hanging them. I had taken it out for your convenience, and you were informed about it, and again no complaints were made.
The sole reason you incurred additional charges is that you broke an ice tray, failed to pay for the groceries you requested, and did not adhere to the hot tub usage instructions. Your companion ignored the usage guidelines and entered the hot tub while menstruating. Water tests indicated elevated chemical levels, suggesting blood contamination and a lack of consideration for future guests. The cleaning process requires 3-4 hours, which includes draining the hot tub, deep cleaning the filter, and applying chemical treatments, resulting in significant water waste.
We endeavor to provide the highest level of hospitality to all our guests. Throughout our years of hosting, we have never faced such disrespectful guests, and thus, this personal opinion does not reflect the type of individuals we are. All our reviews consistently confirm and reinforce the excellent service we offer to those who visit us. We always strive to accommodate both tourists and locals seeking a getaway, and while it is true that as humans, we possess varying perspectives, this does not grant anyone the right to tarnish another's reputation simply for not adhering to instructions. We have numerous reviews on this and other platforms that attest to our true character.
I was on island for a friends wedding. The Hollis’s were the most accommodating and hospitable hosts that i have come across on VRBO. The apt was clean and tidy, a short walk to a private beach. Anything I needed was taken care of promptly. Will be back with the family. 5 STARS!!!!!
