Lookout Point Cabin is located at the top of a tranquil mountain PAVED road. Privacy between you and the surrounding neighbors by natural barriers and woods. Solitude with isolated wooded views in the rear and spectacular far-range mountain views in the front.

Enjoy waking up with your coffee on the front porch as the sun rises over the mountain peaks. The common areas emphasize quality time, including a game room and family room. There is a hot tub you can soak in right off the back porch. Enjoy a relaxing evening down by the fire pit with your friends/family.

Need to get some work done while away? Free wifi with high-speed internet is included. All TVs are smart TVs with streaming apps already loaded. Antennae broadcast available.

Price is for entire cabin and property. Owners do not reside on premise.

Private driveway for parking. No access to garages.

House Layout:
Three bedrooms. Three bathrooms
First Floor: entryway, one bedroom, one bathroom, game/family room
Second Floor: master suite and bath, one bedroom, one bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room. Access to back deck hot tub and front balcony.

Sleeping Arrangements:
THREE KING BEDS and an inflatable queen mattress (ideal for children) can sleep 8 guests. One of the king beds can separate into two twins if needed.


Dog Friendly. One kennel/cage provided. One set of dog bowls to use. Property description is for only 1 dog, <50 pounds. If >50lbs or more than one dog requested, please inquire to see if an exception can be made for your furry family member(s). $50 per stay pet fee. I'm sorry, NO cats as family allergic.


Only 6 miles (10 minutes) from door step to down-town Blue Ridge (ALL PAVED). No need for 4x4 or truck to navigate these roadways.

Only minutes from mainstream attractions including hiking/biking trails, gem mining, Mercier Orchards, tubing, kayaking, paddle boarding, wineries, fishing, blue ridge lake, etc. Let’s not forget a little drive to North Carolina and Tennessee.

Wish we were able to stay longer!
We did a family roadtrip for spring break through several states, but wanted to stop and linger longer in the mountains, so we chose Lookout Point for our couple nights in the mountains. And we regret we weren't able to stay longer! The cabin is beautiful! My favorite space was the screened-in porch. It was perfect for an early morning quiet time with coffee! The game room is a nice addition - my teens enjoyed having that available to them. The location is great - close to town (Blue Ridge is adorable!) and also close to hiking. With a bit of a drive, you can get to Springer Mountain and hike some at the start of the Appalachian Trail. The roads to the cabin are paved and we had no issues getting to and from the cabin. Great parking at the cabin, and it's well lit at night. Sarah was a great host! She kept in touch with us leading up to our stay and offered some great suggestions for things to do in the area. We really enjoyed the hospitality! We don't tend to vacation in the same spot more than once, but this is on our list of areas to come back to and we'll definitely try to book Lookout Point again whenever we head back!

Great Cabin
This was a great place to stay. A fantastic view from the upstairs area. Beds were extremely comfortable. Kitchen was nicely stocked. Close to shopping and restaurants.

Fall Break
We really enjoyed our stay on my grandsons Fall Break at school. Our location was very close to Mercier's Apple Barn. We also enjoyed visiting the Amish store. View was breath taking and the weather was awesome; cool in the mornings with a lot of sunshine in the afternoons. The cabin was very comfortable, clean, spacious. We enjoyed roasting hot dogs and marshmellows around the fire pit. The only negative there is to this location was the neighbors (not sure if they live there or were renters) but their dogs barked almost all night the last night we were there.

My family and I purchased this home as a vacation home. Seclusion away from the day-to-day hustle and bustle. Over time, we decided we wanted to share what we had with others to enjoy while we were not using it. With its PAVED roads, easy access, breathtaking panoramic mountain views, it is a site that you have to see in person.
