In the heart of the beautiful nature park Vulkaneifel, surrounded by ancient volcanic maars is the vacation home in a dreamlike location. The lovingly furnished house is located far away from the stress of everyday life directly on the edge of the forest. The private road leading to the house has little traffic and is therefore very quiet (no through traffic). Due to its central location, the bungalow offers numerous possibilities to get to know the highlights of the Eifel.

On the 545 m² large and very well-kept property you can really enjoy nature - the ideal place for relaxation in the middle of the Eifel at a unique price-performance ratio. With its approx. 80 m² of living space, the vacation home offers enough space for up to 6 people, who are also welcome to bring their four-legged friends.

In the comfortably furnished living area you will find a modern, newly equipped kitchen. The exclusive equipment includes, among other things, a ceramic hob with extractor hood, an oven, a dishwasher, a coffee maker and a Senseo coffee maker ready. The kitchen flows into a large dining room. A special highlight is the open wood fireplace, which is integrated into a beautiful winter garden. Here, on cold days, the fireplace can be fired and a feel-good atmosphere is quickly created, the ?bearskin romance? The fireplace room is additionally heated by an underfloor heating. In the summer months, the winter garden invites you to open the glass fronts to the terrace and let the surrounding nature into the bungalow. The exclusive bathroom was also completely renewed and modernly furnished. A highlight here is certainly the barrier-free ?walk-in shower? The walk-in shower even has, like the entire bathroom, an underfloor heating. Further equipment includes an illuminated vanity mirror, a hairdryer and, if desired, the linen package with towels & shower towels.

The house has two newly furnished bedrooms. In keeping with the concept of a forest view, both rooms have been kept in a cozy wooden look. In the first room a double bed with height-adjustable slatted frame awaits our guests. In the second bedroom there is a custom-made bunk bed. The bunk bed, loved by our guests, consists of two very comfortable single beds, each 0.9m x 2.0m. The equipment includes radio alarm clock and even a smartphone iHome alarm clock. If necessary, a comfortable sofa bed and an extra bed can also be used in the living area. The beds are freshly made on request when you arrive.

For our younger guests, we provide a crib and a high chair free of charge upon request. The house has a telephone connection that can be used free of charge for domestic calls. A WLAN hotspot (WiFi) is installed and offers fast internet reception on request. A large 43 inch TV (109 cm) with satellite reception, a DVD player with various movies, a Hi-Fi system, books and various entertainment games complete the entertainment offer.

The outdoor area has been beautifully designed and landscaped for the new season. The adjacent forest is home to various species of animals, which can even be observed from the bungalow. The property is fenced with hedges and there are two garden doors integrated. So children and dogs can ?run free?. An American BBQ grill is available at the spacious terrace - the firewood is offered on site. There is a second terrace. In the covered lounge our guests can relax protected from the weather and thus sit outside even in rainy weather. For your safety, several smoke detectors and a CO gas detector are installed in the vacation bungalow.

Directly at the bungalow our guests will find hiking and Nordic walking trails, mountain bike routes as well as the possibility of fishing at the Heilbachsee, which is 300m away. Gunderath, which can be reached in a few minutes on foot, is a small, quiet Eifel village.
Within a radius of a few kilometers there are numerous excursion destinations. There is something for everyone here - the Maare, a volcano museum, a lava bomb, a cold water geyser, various medieval castles, a game park with monkey gorge and toboggan run, the largest mousetrap in the world with a museum, a wolf gorge with eagle show, a crime museum, the Moselle with wine taverns and the legendary race track ?Grüne Holle? We are even partner of the Nürburgring! A house in the middle of the Eifel - the vacation region Vulkaneifel is very diverse.

A paradise for 4 paws - with us you and your partner with the cold snout are exactly right! Dog vacation is no problem in this house thanks to our often praised cleaning team. The dog basket is already ready for your four-legged friend! You are welcome to bring one or more dogs, the property and the location is certainly ideal for your four-legged friend. Walk without traffic directly at the bungalow begins the walk in nature. The vacation region Vulkaneifel offers additionally many possibilities for long walks. Directly at the bungalow the "Panoramapfad Hochkelberg" leads past. In addition, the Eifelsteig, the Maare path and the Moselsteig are in the immediate vicinity of our house.

Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate in 2025; guests can rent them at the property for an additional charge of EUR 15.00 per person or bring their own. Consumption costs are included in the room rate. Up to two pets are allowed.
