Granite Cove is conveniently located approximately 15 minutes from Publix and 10 minutes from Hwy 44 where most of the shopping and restaurants are in the area. What makes this property unique
Lake Oconee provides Georgia’s most ideal environment for the outdoor enthusiast with 374 miles of shoreline with a surface area of 19,971 acres. It is formed by the Oconee River and Apalachee River and was created in 1979 when Georgia Power completed the construction of the Wallace Dam on the Oconee River creating a controlled reservoir near Greensboro and Eatonton. Perfect for all types of water sports, from boating and sailing to swimming and skiing, the waters of Lake Oconee are best known for excellent fishing. If you would like to further explore the area off the water, there is plenty of golfing or historic attractions for everyone in the family to enjoy. Nearby Old Salem Park, Historic Uncle Remus Museum, Historic downtown Madison and Greensboro, Durhamtown, Lake Oconee Brewery or the many great restaurants in the area to name a few!
