Great cabin! Sitting on the two covered porches made you feel like you were back in your childhood tree fort. The hot tube was awesome after hiking and playing all day. The kitchen was well equipped and functional. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The cabin was precious, it had all the necessities, the beds were comfortable, it was such a convenient proximity to all of the activities, we will definitely stay there again!
Everything is as shown/described. I think it’s great if it was just my husband and myself, but there were some challenges staying with 2 young children. They had extra towels, but no extra blanket/sheets which would have been helpful. Also a way to cover the drain to utilize the tub would be nice. Beds/pillows I didn’t find to be very comfy (but that’s a personal preference) and the bottom level is very dark at night so you may want to bring some night lights to help get around! There were some critters fighting in the roof or something that woke us up a couple times on the last night, but not much they can do about that. We did notify them upon check out.
Absolutely cutest little place. Bears visited us daily, never bothered a thing just saying hello. The bed was sooooo comfortable. Very relaxing home. Hot Tub was clean . We enjoyed it daily. Highly recommend staying here.
Overall, the property is clean, very quiet, and private. It has the rustic feel which was nice. There is quite a temperature difference between the downstairs and upstairs.Be mindful of the parking. We have a CRV and I don't think there could've been a large vehicle parked also. Another compact could've squeezed in.The couch is decent enough but small. If your wanting to all lay around it wouldn't work. Perfect for us four on our trip. We weren't in the cabin very much. The proximity to Gatlinburg was really great. Far enough to be out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to just pop into town.
Hot tub was hot enough every night really enjoyed that! Cabin was really cleaned good on arrival! The location of the cabin was perfect for us. You got the sunrise right on the front porch.
Everything was clean and smelled fresh rather than sterile. The host communicated early, well, and was friendly. The kitchen had enough dinnerware and utensils to make everything comfortable. Plenty of bath towels were provided. There were a few hangers in the closet which was great since that's something I didn't consider while packing for the trip! The cabin and the lot was gorgeous!! Nestled in the mountains, you could hear the stream running alongside the property. Very scenic! There's a little country store selling essentials and pizza very nearby, basically "in the neighborhood" which was convenient when we just needed sugar and bottled water vs driving into town.Bears were active in the area but not troublesome. They do seem to just walk right on down the paved road so definitely keep the garbage in the bear-proof bins securely and keep food out of your car. Great experience here and the cabin was quaint and comfortable. I would choose it again if we return to the area.
We enjoyed our stay very much and really took advantage of the hot tub and fire pit daily. We had bears visit the cabin during our stay as well. It was the perfect distance away from the hustle and bustle. The main problem were the ants. This time of year they come out heavy so I understand but they were a bit overwhelming in the kitchen area.
Was a lovely property with all we needed to enjoy the March surroundings. The hot tub was amazing while it snowed. Very clean. Would just recommend to bring a couple extra blankets in the colder weather season, especially if you are a person whom gets cold easily. That being said the heat did wonders for keeping you warm. Great experience!! Thank you
My husband and I spent a weekend away and we couldn't have asked for a better location! The cabin was cozy and inviting and the hot tub is a major plus! Very clean and had everything we needed.
This cabin was amazing! I had a little car and had no problem going up and down the mountain, me, my wife and our friends had a great time! Perfect size for 2 couples.
