Why they chose this property

Cong is a beautiful part of the world, pictureque, historic and therapeutic . This place is magical. We are lucky to reside in such a wonderful village. We love that we are just outside the village with beautiful landscape views surrounding us whilst remaining a stonesthrow away from village life. The home to historian Sir William wilde, father of Playwright, novelist and poet, Oscar Wilde. Famed for being the location for John Fords Oscar winning Film The Quiet Man. Cong is also the home of the 5 star Ashford Castle , built by the Guinness Family , and well worth a visit. Theres lots of beauty and history in our wonderful magical village, Cong Abbey, The Cross Of Cong, The Monks Fishing House,The Guiness Tower, The Pigeon Hole Cave, kellys Cave, The Stone Circles and Inchagoill. Cong offers great fishing and shooting seasonally, whilst Ashford outdoors & the school of falconry are also a big hit with vistitors. Enjoy all the village has to offer ,with its many fabulous places to visit and eat.
