There are many things to do in Lake Tahoe. Below are some of our favorite activities that are not too strenuous.
The Tahoe East Shore Trail is a SPECTACULAR three-mile paved 10- ft wide paved path that is accessible to ride, run, walk or stroll. The new path begins at the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Highway 28. Along the way it provides access to Hidden Beach, Memorial Point and many other water access points. This is a walk almost anyone can do. We prefer to walk the path and spend an hour or two at different beaches or coves. There is a bathroom at the 1 mile mark. THIS IS A MUST DO! The trailhead is 4 miles from the house. You can also spend a full day at Hidden Beach at the 1 mile mark (bathroom).
Action Water Sports - https://www.awsincline.com/rentals/ Rent a kayak, SUP, jet ski, or boat. They are located at the Hyatt. They also have Catamaran Sailings and more.
Stateline Lookout Trail - An easy hike with views of the entire lake. The trail is an old forest road that is paved the entire way. This makes the 1/2 mile hike uphill fairly manageable. This is a perfect place for a picnic, since you have views of the entire lake! The trailhead is 4 miles from the house.
Tahoe Meadows - Easy trail on Highway 431 almost at the summit. The trailhead is 8 miles from the house.
Sand Harbor State Park - Beautiful public park and beach. They have kayak and paddle board rentals. This is probably one of the prettiest places to kayak on the lake.
Garwoods - This is one of our favorites! They have a famous cocktail the “Wet Woody”. You can make a reservation on Open Table. I always wait for a deck table. There are white chairs on the lake so waiting isn’t that bad. You can stroll the dock and check out the boats. The kids can play in the lake.
Lone Eagle Restaurant - The Hyatt Lone Eagle offers great views of the lake. Reservations are highly recommended.
Incline Fitness Trail - This is a simple trail on Lakeshore Drive. You would park across from Ski Beach. We like it on a windy day or when we are not up for a real hike. It is perfect for little ones. You can also combine it with a walk on Lakeshore Drive.

Why CaliforniaVacationRentals.net chose Incline Village
We chose Incline Village because of the great beaches and access to amenities. There is a large grocery store and medical services in town. The two golf courses, recreation center, Hyatt resort and Diamond Peak ski resort are within 2 miles of the house. We definitely wanted a lakeview and this house has a great one!
What makes this house unique
The house is great for our family. We are able to spread out into different areas. We have a family room with pool table, living room, sitting area in the kitchen and the movie theater. We are all able to be together and get away from each other.
