We aim to deliver great experiences as much as possible. During your stay we respond quickly to text messages and are available by phone. For our guest(s) convenience, we send detailed check-in and check-out instructions.

While staying with us, you may meet 3 or 4 members of our team who carry on different roles to ensure your stay is smooth. We look forward to making your stay as pleasant and memorable as possible. Please let me know how we can help.

Suitable for 4 adults/people. Quiet time is 10:00 PM to 07:00 AM. No parties or events. Please remove shoes upon entering. No cats or dogs, including service animals, due to severe allergies. Absolutely no smoking, vaping, or cannabis use or manufacture of any kind indoors or outdoors.

This is our family home, and we have a locked area where we store our personal items in the guest bedroom closet. Feel free to enjoy the games and reading materials but please leave in our home at the end of your stay.

Lastly, we have rented our home privately for several years. We are new to this platform, hence we have limited reviews for this property. Our previous guests have loved our home, its location and have returned to due the quiet retreat and proximity to downtown attractions.

Because this home is over 100 years old, the sewage can be sensitive. Please do not flush tampons, wet wipes, or anything at all. Our city ordinance requires 30 days stay. Lodging can be difficult to find in our town. Our guests can check out prior to the 30 days if they chose to, but the stay is not refundable if you leave prior to the booking and is not transferable to friends, family, or another party.

Why they chose this property

This lovely 1905 2-bedroom bungalow is filled with light and is ideal for a couple with a maximum occupancy of 4 people. The Birdhouse is thoughtfully furnished for 30+ day stays and has a mid-century modern flare. It has two bedrooms upstairs and one bath downstairs, an office area and reading nook on the main floor, and one covered porch with sunshades in the front yard. The street is in a quaint neighborhood community that offers ample free street parking. It has central heating and air conditioning, a TV, Wi-Fi, and full-size appliances include dishwasher, stove, microwave, refrigerator, vacuum, and clothing steamer.

Our home comes equipped with handpicked essentials, from premium mattresses and linens to kitchen fundamentals like pots and pans, chef’s knives, dishes, food storage containers, coffee grinder and maker, utensils, cocktail & wine glasses. It is also equipped with dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent & softener, paper towels, a vacuum, and cleaning supplies.

Guest(s) can use the air-conditioning or open windows and enjoy the mountain breezes. Feel free to partake in the fresh raspberries that grow in the back yard in June, July and August months.

The garage and rear alley parking are not permitted for use by our guest(s). The back yard is a shared space with the south facing neighbor who leases the garage, rear parking, and accesses the back yard areas for yard maintenance and garage usage. This original whitefish home is updated and is over 100 years old. The stairwell and upstairs bedrooms have some squeaky floors, loft ceilings, and steep stairs. We recommend using the handrail for all approaches. This home is not ADA compliant.

The guest bedroom does not have air conditioning, but we provide a fan to use with the window. In the winter months, we provide a portable heater that is safe and keeps the room comfortable with an automatic temperature setting. The fan and heater work well to cool/heat the room.
