Costa Rica has been my escape from the snowy Canadian winters for several years now. This is my personal home away from home and was built for my own use. It was never intended to be rented out but pressure from visiting guests and travelers staying in neighboring properties have swayed me to offer up this special property for rent. Long term guests staying for 30 days or more are preferred.

This property has that WOW factor as soon as you pull into the driveway and you see that jaw dropping mountain view. The opportunity to see that every day made moving to this area a no brainer. Most days you are greeted with a steady Papagayo breeze that helps keep you cool for those 3 or 4 months out of the year when the rain vanishes and the sun always shows up. This dry season is unique to the Guanacaste area of Costa Rica and makes everyday a beach day!

Location. We are a 5 minute car ride away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy town of Coco. This buffer provides you with a peaceful relaxing setting while still being surrounded by a friendly community of vacation goers from all around the world. And best of all, there are two beaches within walking distance. Ocotal Beach is a 2 minute car ride or 15 minute walk down a paved road. Or my favorite, a secluded beach called Gringo Beach, accessible only by foot down a dirt path. Those physically fit can reach the beach in 15 minutes, but a bit longer for most of us ;) When you arrive don't be surprised if you have the beach all to yourself (except for the howler monkeys that might join you from time to time!)
