About the host
Hosted by Angie Brown
Although we are experienced renters, this is our first VRBO and we are excited to share our cottage with you and your family. Our kids love it here, and we know you and yours will love it as much as we do. As lifelong campers, hikers and all around out door people, we can't resist sharing our unique getaway with you.
Why they chose this property
Being on the river is magical. It can only be understood once you've seen the stars on the water at night, and had your coffee outside in the morning. The serenity is exceptional.
What makes this property unique
Most lakeside homes are incredibly close to each other, making it difficult to have privacy. Being on the river is a unique experience that is difficult to match, but most importantly to us, is that we feel like we've got a campground all to ourselves. You have to experience it to understand it's magic. This property is on a peninsula, with one side overlooking the water and unbuildable land on the other side. Making you feel entirely alone with the water and stars. The other side of the peninsula looks across the water to homes and camps of our "neighbors," where their camp lights make me feel like I did as a child camping with my grandparents. Their lights just make me smile. You'll understand when you see it.
