My husband and I are avid travelers and we love staying in old mansions, quaint B&B's and anywhere that has fascinating history. We live in Virginia Beach and we are honored to offer The Historic Boxwood Inn as a wonderful, clean, family operated place to stay!

Why they chose this property

As a chef/caterer, I wanted to find a venue for weddings that included rooms for guests. The Historic Boxwood Inn offered everything I could dream of. It was built and lived in by the Simon Curtis family for over 100 years. As only the 3rd person outside of the Curtis family to own this beautiful home, we are blessed to be a part of it's history.

What makes this property unique

This is a unique opportunity to see how life was in the 1800's with the added bonus of modern amenities! The house includes a general store with local artisans, local honey, fresh baked goods and a full bar. We also have a beautiful event space for up to 75 guests with in-house catering and several menu options.
