Situated amidst the storied grounds of Camp Gordon Johnson from the WWII era, our home offers a unique window into local history, further enriched by the nearby Camp Gordon Johnson museum.

For nature enthusiasts, the nearby Tate's Hell National Forest, Apalachicola National Forest, Wakulla Springs State Park, Ochlockonee State Park, and St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge beckon with over 300 species of migratory birds and hundreds of miles of coastlines, waterways, and trails to explore. A short drive leads to the world's largest and deepest spring, Wakulla Springs, offering additional outdoor adventures.

Immerse yourself in the vibrant local culture with a plethora of festivals including the Panacea Blue Crab Festival, St. George Island's Chili Cook Off and Brewfest, Sopchoppy's Shells and Tails Festival, and the Worm Gruntin' Festival to name a few. For nature enthusiasts, the area boasts proximity to St. Marks, Carrabelle, and St. George Island lighthouses, alongside an array of stunning beaches such as Shell Point, Mashes Sands, Alligator Point, Bald Point, Carrabelle, and St. George Island.

Savor the flavors of the region at local restaurants featuring sea-to-table options, breweries, and charming storefronts, all while embracing the rich waterfront culture and heritage that defines the area. Whether you're an angler seeking paradise or a nature lover yearning for a serene escape, our coastal cottage is the perfect retreat for a truly unforgettable getaway along the enchanting Forgotten Coast.
