It is a beautiful property but an older property. It's under new ownership and she is working on upgrades. I personally like the old Florida feel. We did miss the microwave but managed without it. It was not a deal-breaker! They have a beautiful pool area and you cannot beat the location. You can walk to downtown Venice and to the beach. There was a park right across the street so having two kids in the group this was extremely helpful. For our purpose to have a many family retreat it was perfect because of the calm relaxing and quiet atmosphere. We had the two bedroom suite with the kitchen. I would definitely stay there again!
