The bungalow was perfect for the two of us. We were able to walk to town, short drive for groceries and a very quiet location. It had everything we needed as far as kitchen supplies and linens. Would stay there again!

Adorable cottage in a nice location with a vintage vibe. Very nice hosts and enjoyed so many close by attractions such as the Camden Harbor, Camden downtown, the beautiful lighthouses and don’t miss the view from Mt. Battie!

The cottage was lovely, and Lanita was cordial and very helpful. All the rooms have good natural light, and were comfortable to spend time in. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from downtown Camden but quiet and secluded—almost completely private. Though we ate all our meals out, the kitchen was well supplied if we had wanted to cook.

Great stay in Camden

We thoroughly enjoyed our week’s stay in Camden and loved this clean and neat cottage. It was just what we were looking for. The location close to town was ideal for the two of us and the communication with Lanita was just right. We hope to be back soon!

Nice cottage

We had a great stay at this cottage. Great quiet location in a freindly neighborhood. Walkable into town with all the amenities. Hiking and lake is also close by. We met the neighbor with her giant poodle while out walking. Super friendly.

Charming Cottage

We loved the house. It has everything you need and is perfectly located in a quiet, pretty spot. It’s an easy walk to the center of town and not far to walking trails. There are even hummingbirds that visit the flowers outside the kitchen window.

Camden get away

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The cottage was perfect, very clean, relaxing, and convenient to everything. Our host was always available for any communication we needed. We love Camden and most certainly will stay there any time we visit the area. Happy visitors Dave and Diana

Quiet, comfortable bungalow in Camden

The bungalow was on a quiet street close to everything and bigger than expected. We like to walk and hike so it was a nice proximity to nearby trailheads as well as downtown Camden. The air conditioner was a great plus as we had some rainy, muggy days and we appreciated the well stocked kitchen so we could eat cook some meals during our stay. Thanks for a great stay, hope to be back next summer!

Quiet getaway in the perfect location

We loved our stay Lanita's place while exploring Maine for the week. Lanita was very responsive to our questions around check in. The house was quiet, clean, and had everything we needed. We had our coffee's on the cute sun deck every morning. The location was perfect for exploring Maine: a 15 min walk into town, a short drive to other great towns to explore, and less than 2 hour drive from Acadia. Highly recommend staying at here to anyone looking for a great spot in midcoast Maine!

Best Camden VRBO visit yet!!

We've now stayed at VRBO properties in Camden several times. This house was by far the best so far. Convenient - yet secluded; totally private & quiet. Well supplied with all the necessities - and a special "find" multiple electrical plugs AND multiple charging ports for phones & computers. All very well thought out and very much appreciated!

Quintessential Maine cottage

This charming Camden cottage is located at the end of a quiet dead end street yet within walking distance to a bustling seaside town. From a pleasant front porch to a spacious kitchen, the owner has provided guests with everything you need for a week’s vacation including a very informative notebook with suggestions for places to visit and things to do on a rainy day. Cute and Comfortable

This lovely 1 bedroom had everything we needed. The location was walkable to downtown Camden or a short drive to everything. It is a very quiet cul-de-sac with the cottage at the end. Lots of information of things to do are in a notebook. The cottage is very well stocked to make your stay super comfortable.

Lovely cottage, unfriendly dog environment

The cottage was clean, the property well kept up, and the furnishings comfortable. We left two days early because although we’ve been vacationing in Maine for about twenty years, we’ve found that the state has become “dog unfriendly.” We’re done vacationing in Maine.

Lanita responded immediately to any inquiry. Loved the modern renovations without loosing the charm of the earlier era cottage. More room than expected. We were gone most of the time so didn't take full advantage of the kitchen and patio. Clean and well kept.

We have stayed at many VRBO properties through the years and this wonderful house was the overall best for many reasons. This property has received a lot of thoughtful touches to make it very comfortable. There are lots of windows which provides a light, bright feel. The windows were new and opened easily with screens on all of them. There is a wall-mounted AC/Heat unit which would work fine for the size of the house.. The bedroom has room darkening shades which were great since sunrise was 4:30 a.m! The bedroom has lots of storage for your clothes; there is a walk-in closet with lots of space and each of the two nightstands had a multiple outlet source. Many extra blankets, etc. There is a good stock of washcloths, hand and bath towels, kitchen towels. The rooms are all bright and cheerful. The kitchen is very well stocked and there is enough counter space that you can actually prepare a meal. There is a very large walk-in pantry that would accommodate any of your food or other storage needs. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, cookware and utensils. There is every kind of appliance available....all in working order. Unlike many other VRBOs that we have stayed in, the couch, chair and other furniture are very comfortable. The television worked fine and is easy to use. The Wi-Fi is fast. There are beautiful flowers planted all around the house which is on a dead end street--very private and quiet. Walking distance to downtown. Coffee on the porch - wonderful!

Ideal quiet home at end of dead end street

Despite being about 80 yrs old, this home, at the end of a very short street, turned out to be ideal for our needs and that of our 7 lb male papillon dog. Plenty of space for us & for him to run outside without disturbing anyone else. Home is very well maintained and quite clean. Gas grill was spotless although the previous user had left the propane tank valve open with the grill valves closed. As I do at home, I routinely shut off the propane tank valve to prevent problems or possible fire with any grill leak. Excellent & responsive owner. Would definitely stay again if we return to Camden.
