Welcome to Kiarama! The name Kiarama pays respect to the Aboriginal communities across the Continent. Kiarama from which Kiama is derived is the indigenous word meaning "Where The Sea Makes Noise" (in reference to the blowhole in Kiama, the largest of its kind in the world).

Kiama has been recently voted the best regional town of Australia and boasts a 60 metre blowhole (when conditions are right), a 20km coastal walk, 2 ocean pools, 4 beautiful beaches, holds a weekly farmers market at Coronation Park and a monthly seaside craft market, is endowed with many historic buildings and hosts many festivals.

The house is bathed in sunshine, has a wonderful sea breeze and is comfortably appointed with modern conveniences. It is centrally located and within easy reach of all of the delights of Kiama.

• 5mins walk to the Grand Hotel (pub) 
• 5mins walk to shops and restaurants and train
• 10mins to Blowhole and the Kiama to Gerringong Coastal walk 

Kiama is also nearby to the towns of Jamberoo (9km), Gerringong (13km), Gerroa (16km), Berry (24km) and Kangaroo Valley and the Southern Highlands (approx 30-40km). There is plenty to see and discover!

The house will accomodate a maximum of 7 people in 3 bedrooms (King, Queen and Triple Bunk bed, plus a cot and highchair. It is an ideal spot for enjoying with friends or family. It has a lovely backyard which is equipped with a Weber BBQ, a garden table and 2 chairs, a picnic table for 6, to relax and enjoy the surrounds and sound of the waves.

The three bedrooms are spacious with air-conditioning and fans. We have recently installed a new oven with airfryer and cooktop. There is a Sony Smart TV with Paramount plus streaming services, CD player (& CDs), Board games and many books to choose from.

We provide oil, pepper, salt, sparkling water, tea and coffee (plunger and percolator).

You will have the house to yourselves. We ask our guests to park in the driveway or in the ample free parking available across the street.

We can speak French to our guests if required.

We are a family of 3 and recently purchased this beach property in the best regional town of Australia.
We are planning to move in permanently by the end of this year, and happy to share it to our guests in the meantime.
