Ideal for a family stay. There are many restaurants and a supermarket right next door, and it's a short walk into the centre via the main shopping street or along the coastline. We highly recommend.

Great Apartment

Beautiful apartment in a very central location. Well equipped but perhaps could have done with a few more towels and toilet rolls! Two toilet rolls between four people for five days isn't enough. Kitchen comes with washing up liquid and cloths which was handy as we cooked a bit. Beds were very comfy but would have liked the sheets changed at least once. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

Overall very good experience. I had almost a week stay and was really expecting a washer machine since I am traveling with my kids. I booked a 2 bedroom suite with balcony. Had contacted them to see if there is a washer. I would have appreciated if they could have advised me that there are other 2 bedroom suites with the washer. I would have changed it. When I requested one extra toilet tissue and was told that they only have to provide one roll for the whole stay and to buy your own. Check in was very smooth and nice. This hotel is at a great location.

My family and I were over the moon with the Hlemmur Suites!! Third time in Reykjavik, Iceland and this was by far the best place we stayed at. The amenities were spot on and just what we needed for a group of 5. We absolutely loved everything!! Management team was top tier!! Every question answered very timely!! We will always come back to Hlemmur Suites!!!

The worst memory in my trip

Unreliable, rude, unhelpful staff and shortage of towels. One staff said I can keep my luggage on the messages but that day there is no one who keeps my luggage. I called the phone. Another staff takes the phone, they can't keep the luggage and yelled at me that who is it( about keeping luggage). There are so many stories but it is too long story. Shortly l, they confused their policy and yelled at me but never apologizeed it. Lastly, I'm not a good English speaker. When I didn't undersatnd their speaking, they annoyed to me. I visited a lot of countries. No one has ever been rude to me for not speaking English fluently.

The property’s prime location near stop number 9 for tour pickups and main attractions allowed us to explore Reykjavik with ease, with local sights, eateries, and a supermarket all within walking distance. The accommodations were impeccably clean, cozy, and well-equipped, making it perfect for warming up after a day in the chilly Icelandic weather. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, like soft blankets, reliable radiator heating, and fast internet. The spacious living area and television made downtime comfortable, while the washer/dryer in the room was a lifesaver for our extended stay. The host went above and beyond, kindly switching us to a similar room with a stunning sea view. This personalized attention, along with the comfortable amenities, elevated our experience.
