The pros: staff very friendly and helpful, location close to metro, groceries, room was spacious, hotel restaurant was good. The cons: no hot water all week except for last day when they finally fixed the boiler. Although room seemed to be updated, it still felt dated. We had kitchenette but no table big enough to eat comfortably and only one chair. Should have bigger table and two chairs. Otherwise enjoyed our stay.

Good hotel but inflexible

Really nice hotel. Great to have kitchen and all the necessary amenities. Just an annoying incident where I was emailed at 11am to come back to the hotel before noon or they would kick me out of my room because there was an issue with my payment method. This was after having already been in the hotel for a number of days. The person showed no flexibility and I had to leave a work meeting to sort the situation out. But everyone else at the hotel was very nice and accommodating. Heater/AC unit is also extremely loud, even when fully off. So if you're a light sleeper, it's not ideal.

This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The staff is incredible, the rooms amazing, so pet friendly!!! The only caveat— you pay extra for parking. Be aware of that if you’re driving to DC.

Nice little quaint hotel. Location is good. Our room had a running shower faucet, which was annoying. Also, when you turn the water on (in the tub), you get a blast of blackish/grey colored water. Not very appealing.... All in all, it is a decent hotel for a quick stay in DC.

nothing and they lied to us about being able to cancel the charge for one night when we did not make it to our flight from San Fran. we called them asking if they can cancel the charge, they confirmed that they will not charge us. We missed out flight and found out that this hotel actually did charge us around $300 for the night they had agreed to refund.
