The location is great for the price, and staff are friendly and helpful. The sheets, mirrors, tables, and sinks appeared to be clean. However there was staining on the fabric couch, dirt stains all over the bathroom walls and bedroom walls, it looks like they had never been wiped down. The provided dishes were clean but the utensils had old food stuck to it. There was also a bedside lamp that slowly detached from the wall during my first two nights. The size of the room was nice, and I appreciated the design, but the cleanliness bothered me a lot and I personally don't feel comfortable asking for cleaning service when all my items are in the room with no safe box.

Limited kitchenette with only one small and dull knife. Very few utensils and counter space as well. Not many eating or grocery options in area either. Atleast it's close to a train station.

The hotel room was not what it looks like in the picture advertised. The room was very dark and hot because there was no a/c and only gave you a small tabletop fan. There wasn’t an elevator and the area was sketchy.

convenient and adequate

super convenient place to stay if you're attending the Messe fairs. rooms are small and bathrooms very basic, but kitchenette is nice bonus. plenty of shopping and restaurants within 10-15min walk. pastries and bread included for free at breakfast make American ones look like garbage.

Great place for longer stays

Stayed there twice would go back again. Ideal place for independant travelers. Great staff, very nice, spacious, clean rooms, awesome wifi connection. Good location for getting around on public transit.

Different but great

Great location 3 minute walk to public transit which reaches any location in town within 15 minutes. Helpful staff, laundry in basement. No AC, no elevator, no issue for us but should be mentioned.

Decent hotel but no AC!

Not having an AC is substandard. It's hard to get a good night's sleep when it's 34 degrees outside.

Modern budget room, easy access to transportation

We enjoyed our stay with close proximity to downtown and to a prearranged restaurant meeting place with others in our group. The rooms are all fresh and clean and modern in this newly renovated apartment building in a residential area. There are several good restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating and provided extra pillows and an additional chair when requested. The coin-op washing machine downstairs was handy also. the two things that I would offer as suggestios to hotel management are: Your listing should mention that there is no elevator available. Having recently recovered from a hip operation, I find stairs difficult. your staff was helpful in relocating me from a 3rd floor room to the 1st floor. My second suggestion is that the plain wooden kitchen style chairs are not atn all comfortable for sitting, reading or working on the computer. Adding a comfortable chair would be a small cost for adding considerable comfort to your guests.

It was a cheap efficiency studio apartment not a hotel. The neighborhood is okay but there are no services no food no water. Only coffee offered. Hotel is also under construction and would never had booked it if I knew this beforehand.

OK if you just need a basic room to sleep

If you just need a basic bed to sleep in this hotel is fine. The cooking facilities are basic too - one spoon, one fork, one plate, one bowl, etc. etc. The chair in the room was so uncomfortable, I ended up having to work with my laptop in my lap in the bed or in the reception are. And the reception area right now (and for another year) is a "portable" building like the ones you see on construction sites. The staff is WONDERFUL though. The walls are "thin" - my colleague could hear my TV in the adjacent room. My colleague complained of a lingering odor in his room too. We suspect that the management knows about the odor situation because windows in the rooms and hallways were open in the November cold weather. The bathroom was really small, but I made it work. The normal price of these rooms reflects the type of hotel it is, but I was here for a conference and room rates were triple what they normally are, so it did not seemm like a great value.
