We really liked our stay. The views are just breathtaking, it is quiet and very relaxing environment. My toddler enjoyed the beach daily and loved his morning and evenings walks. I appreciated the convenience of constantly having taxis available. We will definitely come back.

Every thing was amazing in this hotel and surrounding area. My only complaint is some of the furnitures and appliances in the room were old and not functioning very well. Also the number of plugs were 2.

Nice hotel close to the beach.

It’s a nice hotel on the beach. Cleaning delayed check in significantly. It took them almost the whole day for them to service the room for the second night. Nobody was manning the desk when I checked out at 6AM. The breakfast buffet was amongst the best I’ve ever seen. I loved it. Overall staffing was disappointing, but the amenities were top notch. I stayed here during the winter, which is the off season for them. It might be different in the Summer

The hotel is located near the marina in port Banus, approximately 1.5 KM walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel will work for you if you're looking for a little more room than the average place, we had a living room, large terrace and kitchen in ours. For extended stays in the area I would highly recommend this hotel. Having a car is not a necessity although parking was free and easily accessible. Having said that the vehicle did come in handy as this hotel is about as far as you would want to walk 3KM round trip to the closest restaurants or shops.

Lovely resort and hotel

The hotel stay was great, the suite and terrace were lovely and very comfortable. Restaurant and bar were very good, and the staff were very helpful. We would stay there again.

Tired and feeling its age?

Despite being upgraded, the suite was generally tired and overpriced despite the upgrade - the décor is dated and the furniture while OK needs replacement if the hotel is supposed to be a 5*. Random toenail clippings(not mine!) under the coffee table were not a welcome addition. The hotel has several restaurants which were open on a strict schedule. Not sure if the Il Mare Restaurant directly in front of the hotel is related but they serve a bread and butter basket with the meal, without first telling you that it costs a few euro. I didn't order it, I didn't eat any of it and it cost the waiter his tip because his rationale was "it is listed in the menu" well, I didn't look at the bread and butter section, I looked at the seafood section

Great Hotel Puerto Banus

I arrived at the Guadalpin Banus with my family on July 12th. Shuttle from the hotel came to pick us up at the airport. Very comfortable and there to greet you. Not too expensive either from Malaga to Puerto Banus. When we arrived we had to wait a little for our rooms but we had a bit of time to walk around and go eat. Got our rooms, love the rooms, especially the balcony area. Its like your own little private porch. Rooms are very clean, bathrooms are nice as well. Staff at reception is very friendly and helpful anytime. Staff at the beach is very nice as well. Breakfast is great for having it included in the package, You can get buffet for 20 Euros at night but i personnally rather go out and pay approx same price in Marbella to eat better. Night buffet doesnt have many choices and not too many people are there. Maybe a la carte is better. Beach is nice and I like the fact that it's right next to Mistral beach Club so the beach is never empty and you really feel the Spanish vibe. I've been to Spain many times and I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is really close to Puerto Banus. You can walk there during the day by the beach or take a taxi which only costs about 6-8 euros. I would def stay here again when I come back to Marbella. However I heard they might build a boardwalk Iwhere the hotel is so I'm not sure how long the hotel will be around or if it will stay and that would be too bad if it doesnt. Its a great hotel close to everything and the grounds are very nice.
